Kostas Skretas was born in 1984 at the city of Athens(Greece) and grew up in Syros, an island of Cyclades until the age of 17. He studied Electronic Engineering at the city of Lamia(GR) till the age of 23 and then he returned back to Syros(GR) to finish his military duties at Hellenic Navy. 

He started playing the piano in a very young age, but soon he realized that his music interests went far away from just classical melodies! In 2001, after a few years of collecting music he started playing music at local bars and clubs in Syros. Experimenting in various music he understood that progressive house music was closer to his likes. Releases of Kostas have been supported by artists like Hernan Cattaneo(ARG) , Eelke Kleijn(NL), Shiloh, Flash Brothers, Christian Cambas(GR), V-Sag(GR), Adrianos Papadeas(GR), Denis A, Eelke Kleijn, Nick Varon and Cid Inc. just to name a few. These days he is really busy producing and organizing events along friends under the name of DeepGroove Music Arts TM.

Needing little introduction and simply known as the maestro, Hernan Cattaneo is one of the world’s most beloved DJs and his Sudbeat Music imprint is widely regarded as one of the best in its field. With a career that spans over three decades, Hernan Cattaneo has recorded eleven albums, thirty singles and fifty remixes, all while touring the world delighting passionate music lovers with his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills.

Meanwhile, Australian artist Jamie Stevens has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his three-decade long career. As one of his country’s most talented and sought-after artists, Jamie has proven his skill in professional sound design, film scores and contemporary electronic music. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Jamie has enjoyed a creative swell in recent years, landing releases via Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, John Digweed’s Bedrock Records and Guy J’s Lost & Found.

The third member of the trio is American artist, DJ and promoter Anton Tumas. With a career that spans well over a decade, the Los Angeles resident has left an inevitable mark on the underground scene through his Subtract On The Pier residency and burgeoning Subtract Music imprint.

Last year the trio combined their extensive forces and took to reworking Pink Floyd's ‘Breathe (In the Air)’. Released in 1973 as part of the band’s iconic ‘The Darkside of the Moon’ album, the much lauded song remains as one of the group’s most revered and recognized creations. After several live airings by Hernan Cattaneo, perhaps most notably at BNP Open Life, the trio’s take on the iconic song has been shrouded in mystery, with fans hypothesizing who reworked the track in such grand fashion. Now, fifty years to the day after the original release of the song, we are pleased to offer Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Stevens and Anton Tumas’ rendition as an exclusive free download. Enjoy.

Lively DJ and Producer Florian Picasso released his wild new single ‘Safari’ on the 31st of March via the La Californie Musique imprint. Picasso is no stage name, Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo Picasso. He recently paid tribute to his great grandfather in the most artistic and innovative way with some exceptional shows in the unique location, the Picasso Villa ‘La Californie’. 

Florian is writing his own story with his own signature, never limiting his creative mind. He now plays shows all around the world with up to 100 shows a year and some of the biggest festivals like Tomorrowland or Ultra Miami. This single reflects the polished, clean and peaceful aspects of the label.
Slow pads and reverberations build up over a soft rhythm section, featuring sharp hats and shakers, while FM basses revolve underneath, creating a much desired motion, where notes start to shatter and turn into noise. 
On top, lies a beautiful, dream evoking lead synth, moving between layers of atmospheric overdubs. 

Imagine yourself walking through a forest, with crushing autumn leaves under your feet, watching the late afternoon sun infiltrate through the high pine leaves, creating a golden atmosphere and bathing in light your surroundings.
