Mixtape IV marks the fourth year running of AudioActive’s annual mixtape – a powerful snapshot of the next wave of grassroots talent rising from the south coast. Featuring 16 original tracks, this year’s release brings together a vibrant lineup of unsigned young artists from Worthing, Crawley, Brighton, and Eastbourne, all nurtured through AudioActive’s free music sessions and creative programmes. 

From raw rap verses to genre-blending production, Mixtape IV showcases the voices and visions shaping the future of UK music, straight from youth-led spaces where creativity is steadily building. Unfiltered, original, and packed with energy – this is what the future sounds like.

03 is a soulful and nostalgic track for the rave, produced by UKG veteran Moony. Hatter and Ceezlin provide melodic rhymes over seamless production. The track title ‘03 is a nod to the three artists involvement in music since their early teens. 

Moony's roots are deep in UK Garage. His stylish, yet soulful blend, of bass-driven music has established Moony in UKG House, Grime, Bassline, UK Funky and Dubstep. He has collaborated with the likes of Flava D, DJ Q, Tuff Culture, Spooky and performed with pioneers EZ, Todd Edwards, So Solid, El B. His distinct sounding productions have been released on Butterz, Four40 and Fabric. 

Rapper/producer Hatter brings a unique blend of energy and depth to his audience, sonically and content-wise. Recognised for his versatile yet unmistakable sound, Hatter has shared the stage with the likes of Octavian, Etta Bond, Eyez, The Purist and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man - collaborating with the latter three. He has performed at Outlook Festival, The Great Escape, Boom Bap and Brighton Fringe Festival and has received support from BBC Introducing. 

Rapper and singer Ceezlin first moved into the limelight after signing to a major and teaming up with YouTube's music/ entertainment channel SBTV. After a flurry of hits followed by a run at the top of the battle rap scene, he's collaborated with a long line of noteworthy artists in the UK and overseas. Ceezlin is untamed and spans genres, never failing to deliver a magnetic personality in his content that has earned him a loyal following.

Hatter’s next performance, presented by Hear No Evil Management X The Caribbean Kitchen, on 15th September in Ibiza at Reggae Reggae Beach - Playa Pine, where Ceezlin will also be performing. Hatter is also joined by Ceezlin at The Green Door Store, Brighton 22nd Sept as main support for Big Zuu.
