Relentless techno talent BEC has shot to the top in lightning speed with her high energy techno sets and productions. The UK-born, Berlin-based artist’s latest 4-track EP ‘Sixth Dimension’ on Filth on Acid hits all the right spots for techno fans. First up on the record is ‘Sixth Dimension’, a driving techno pumper with a scattered synth line and rave stabs that build euphotic anticipation and energy. Next in line is ‘Set My Body Free’, with bright and uplifting keys around a darker techno soundscape keeping the pace up. ‘Utopian’ follows on with heaving percussions and intergalactic synth lines. Sample heavy, jagged and cutty, the track takes a journey across multiple directions, creating a flurry of movement within. Closing out the EP is ‘Dialogue’: A quickfire snare drum sets a rushed energy for the track, while a booming kick and brooding baselines are set alight by industrial sounds. A commanding female vocal sample is used that commands the listener's attention. This peak time roller has endless power, giving a striking closing to BEC’s latest techno masterpiece, ‘Sixth Dimension’. THIS IS FILTH ON ACID NOW!

The talented Alex Opteck returns on AE with the enigmatic “Time of a clock EP”.
The two tracks composing the ep sit perfectly one next to the other, interpreting the new school techno sound in all his aspects. The big kick and the fat bass leave room for hypnotic vocals and Detroit style stabs, a perfect game of reverb and delay gels together the different layers enveloping the listener in a deep journey. Alex manages to tame the groove rhythmical parts thanks to a masterful choice of effects and atmospheres which make the song develop very easily towards the long climax and creating two dance floor weapons which will make scream any crowd.

The label's first release (a limited colored edition 12'') comes from the head of M.E., George Apergis.
The debut single features the track "Quelle", a Detroit-ish techno/club oriented track, with a distinctive chord progression and solid bassline. The release also includes 3 striking remixes from international artists.
The first one comes from the acknowledged German artist Johannes Volk (Exploration), who re-creates a dub version of the original track. The second remix comes from the rising scene of Paris and Zadig (Construct Re-Form/ Sino), who evolves the track into a groovy and deep experience. Last but not least, the remix of Irish technohead Lee Holman (Kawl) introduces a darker approach, setting a minimal atmosphere with a unique vocal.
