We welcome Mella Man to the Architecture Recordings roster with this explosive extended project as his dynamic debut  - this is one to watch in the future. Architecture revisits its “Hyper” bass DnB style similar to older classics like Architex (INK & J.DUB) ft Loxy - “Submerged”  capturing a  high octane festive style maintaining the elements of sound with raw and gritty intent. Mella Man hits hard with this bass driven super charged EP and packs a mega punch to knock out the most hardcore of rave goers with his fall to floor dnb style.

No newbie to the scene, Mella man started his drum and bass beginnings in the early 90’s with events in Northampton, UK and later moved into music production of which he would find his final love. With a world of experience and an ear for an energised sound, Mella Man brings the drama to the main stage. Architecture Recordings sees the year out with a bang and a sonic boom!

Ghost Smoke creeps in on thick, weighty drums and the unsettling clatter of broken piano keys, setting a tense, cinematic mood. A haunting reese swells beneath the surface, rising into a spine-tingling build before everything snaps into a spooky, widescreen drop. The main reese line growls with menace as eerie synths weave through the mix, all pushed forward by massive drum work and huge, driving percussion. A dark, atmospheric stepper with real bite. This is classic Pish Posh energy with a cinematic edge.

Ghost Smoke

Starski makes his Codename: RCRDS entrance with 'Old Ghosts EP', which perfectly blends a mix of old skool rave vibes with cutting edge atmospherics.

The EP opens with 'Ghosts', where dreamy pads cross paths with bass stabs and snappy drums, before the stunning 'Clear Vision' drops, with it's warm intro leading into rolling breaks and catch vocal snippets.

Piano-led 'Spellbound' unwinds things further with a deep melancholy feel before 'The Love' closes the EP on a high with its emotive pads and dreamlike atmospherics.

A solid label debut from an artist to watch.
