We are back with 'No Boundaries,' the sixth edition of our split EP series in 12' Vinyl. We are pleased to welcome back Alexander Johansson and Mattias Fridell to Illegal Alien Records for the A Side, which features two outstanding cuts. Ricardo Garduno, Illegal Alien label head, collaborated with Brazilian groove maestro Vinicius Honorio once more to produce the B Side, which also features two outstanding cuts. Merlina, DJ y productora nacida en Buenos Aires, Argentina, es reconocida por su estilo hipnótico, grooves envolventes y una sensibilidad especial a la hora de seleccionar música. Su capacidad de lectura de pista y su compromiso con el techno underground se reflejan en cada uno de sus sets, siempre en diálogo con la pista y el momento.

Su recorrido la ha llevado a presentarse en distintas ciudades de Argentina, así como en escenarios de España, Uruguay, Paraguay y otros rincones del mundo, consolidando su propuesta sonora y expandiendo su visión artística.

En 2022 fundó Ørnament, un colectivo de artistas femeninas y productora de eventos con presencia en Argentina y España. Hoy, en 2025, Ørnament da un paso más y se convierte en sello discográfico, apostando por nuevas voces y sonidos con identidad propia. Merlina continúa liderando este proceso desde el compromiso, la diversidad y una búsqueda artística genuina.

Today we introduce the next guest artist in our podcast series — a key presence within our collective and a rising figure in both the South American and European techno circuits.

Merlina, a DJ and producer born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is known for her hypnotic style, groovy rhythms, and an exceptional sensitivity in her music selection. Her ability to read the dancefloor and her deep connection with underground techno are present in every one of her sets, always in tune with the moment.

Her journey has taken her across Argentina and to international stages in Spain, Uruguay, Paraguay, and beyond — expanding her sound and solidifying her artistic vision.

In 2022, she founded Ørnament — a collective of female artists and event series based in Argentina and Spain. Now, in 2025, Ørnament evolves into a record label, committed to uplifting new sonic voices and supporting projects with identity. Merlina continues to lead this process with purpose, diversity, and a genuine artistic search.
