Bernardo Hangar is a pioneering underground techno artist who has played a significant role in shaping the scene we enjoy today. He made his debut last year on our station with The Composers 007 episode, which featured a solid set composed exclusively of his own productions, showcasing his avant-garde and daring vision in music production, with meticulous excellence in equalization and mastery in mixing, a recipe for relentless dance in its purest form, we recommend you to explore it if you haven't already done so.

We are honored to welcome him back for another round: The Art of Bernardo Hangar, continuing his luminary purpose of exploring the essence of its sound, combining energy, hypnotic rhythms, and raw elements. In this second installment, our prolific guest elevates the experience by unveiling pieces from his Darkforest label, along with exclusive unreleased tracks and from others well selected, creating an effortlessly captivating delivery.

As a result, nothing less than a mind-blowing mix, millimeter technique, dark rhythms, an elegant transition, and relevant determination that remains firm the State-of-the-art combat chapter from the hand of an expert in underground routines, committed to his own emotional and personal satisfaction and of course, that of his listeners.

The Art of Bernardo Hangar makes us take off our hats and put on our boots ready to dance, but his mindset is what inspires us to go to the next level. The union of excellence and authenticity is an unbreakable combo that conquers ears and souls.

The Spanish Techno movement of the 90s has names, one of them is Bernardo Hangar.
Born in Córdoba (Spain) Bernardo is a true veteran of the Techno scene.
He began subduing his style with the explosion of Electronic Body Music, making him one of the most avant-garde and risk-taking artists from southern Europe, and one of the first genuinely underground DJs in our community.

Three decades of living for his music and his personal dedication fostered a special connection with his work reflected in multitude of releases both on labels of recognized international prestige and on his own label: DarkForest

Bernardo Hangar sound is innovative and avant-garde providing an engaging experience into infinity.

Release day! This fourth podcast of the Elata Series features Markellos, a Greek artist based in East London. Markellos started his musical journey because he wanted to dive deeper into electronic music. Passionate about crafting and discovering his own sound, he delivers a music which is a deeply personal expression. His sound is minimal with plenty of spatial elements in the tracks. Always seeking to craft beautiful sonic landscapes that evokes  euphoria and invites listeners to dance and enjoy their body.

We are extremely proud to introduce him with this podcast. As a new emerging artist from the London scene, he respesents the core of what Elata is: a platform of musical expression and experimentation for any talented people in the underground scene.

Étam, from Barcelona (Spain), was born in Santander but has lived like a globetrotter, spending time in cities like Belgrade, Oslo, Tarragona, and now residing in the Barcelona area. A humble lover of electronic music since childhood, he gradually found his way to deeper, darker techno, where he truly feels at home.
Étam is known for creating long mixes that highlight careful equalization, allowing the music to breathe and take listeners on a sonic journey. In 2022, he and his brother Jorge launched their own record label Loopaina Records, striving to carve out a place in the competitive techno scene, which is dominated by established artists’ labels.

Spanish techno/hypnotic-techno Dj and Producer , Ignacio Cuéllar Abascal, born in Madrid in 1990 with great spain projection  Creativity, feeling and passion for hard, forceful and deep rhythms conform the particular style of his productions.


 He seeks to surprise with a totally new and promising concept, bringing out the sounds he has inside, mixing software and analog instruments, to create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy techno at its best. Releasing his music on labels such as Subsist, TMM Recordings, Diffuse Reality, Dissolved Mind Records, Sintetics, Loopaina Records, among others.

His music has been played in emblematic places by high level artists. In 2022 he joins two partners to create a label (Loopaina Records) where he currently works as a producer.

 At the beginning of 2023 his own label Ethnic Meeting Label is born, where creativity, nature and the deepest and most atmospheric sounds are the protagonists.

Today, we welcome David Reina from Córdoba.
