J-core, heavily influenced by other hardcore styles such as gabber and happy hardcore, often incorporates elements of J-pop, anime, and video game music. Characterized by fast tempos, energetic beats, and playful melodies, J-core is known for its high-energy and often whimsical sound. Their song structures and pureness of their sound are very soothing and have motivated me to produce my own tracks more in those genres."

"A Schema Which Has Been Held For Ransom is a track born from deep feelings of anger—an emotion I rarely express—and fear, an emotion I am all too familiar with. Its accompanying poem explores ideas of memory and trauma as they form permanent scars on one's identity and the feelings of helplessness this may elicit.

With this awareness arises a persisting frustration: the idea that no matter how far you go, the callouses of your mind will follow closely behind, serving as daily reminders that some things may never fade.

Maybe it’s just bad luck, or maybe it’s the price one pays when their sense of self has suddenly and unexpectedly been held for ransom."

===A SCHEMA WHICH HAS BEEN HELD FOR RANSOM===

It's bad luck, they say, to break a mirror,
Shatter the fake real, deprave, and then kneel.
Whispers disclosed into eye-like figures,
Optic rays of scatter, and so, conceal.

A mooncalf's mother croons her lullaby,
Soothing the heart of its bleeding cries.
Forever apart, binded only by
A prerequisite death, in which you bide.

Synaptic mirrors—cracks that never fade—
Seep invasive paint that doesn't wipe away.
Mirrors that won't shine; rather, they remind
Daily callouses, in a world you find.

Cud regurgitated in memory,
Lay waste in your rumen; mother's song rasps.
"Reflections can't hurt me", supposedly.
Malleable sand hardens into glass.

Synaptic glass gentrified by axiom,
Synaptic cracks crucified by syntax,
Synaptic mirrors mirror my maxim:

"A schema which has been held for ransom."
