Herzcast Round 11 with MATEKK. He is a young DJ and Producer from Switzerland. He`s Founder of the new Harder Styles Label HyperCore Records and also co-founder of Dartek.

From 170 bpm up with no limit Matekk’s focus is on the diversity of Hardcore and he’s playing a wide variety of genres which he not only loves to combine in his sets but also in his own productions.

Matekk found his love for electronic music early at the age of 14 at first with Psytrance and hi-tech. Then later on at 18 he switched to Hardtechno where he also started mixing. But then he quickly found his real passion for Hardcore and its subgenres.

Johnny 7 uses a chainsaw with this new release at Gabberhead Gold called 'Fucking with the Best'. Three tracks as sharp as a razor and two awesome collabs. 'Bad bitch' is a hard but melodic early hardcore track with Miss Armor. 'Beat Creator' uses the recognisable vocals from MC M-Core to finish a strong track even stronger.

Gysèle is known for her passion for 90s rave, her love for vinyl and preference for high bpm and uplifting tunes. As an avid collector of early 1990s vinyl records, she draws inspiration from the energy of rave culture.

As a DJ, Gysèle specializes in mixing fast and exciting tracks with a high tempo. Her sets are steeped in the signature sounds and beats of the 90s, such as acid house, techno, breakbeat and hardcore. Gysèle believes it's important to preserve the original essence of '90s rave culture and puts her own modern spin on it!
