After having done the « Stupid Cat » remix for Max Bett on FORM MUSIC in 2012, Soliman is coming back alongside Patrick Kunkel for one groovy and surprising track called « I Can't Dance No More ». Difficult to define exactly which style it is, but we felt in love at first listening : a groovy Bassline enhanced by several  drums, congas, bongas, hits playing like if it was recorded as live consolidated by a melancolic melodic MINIMOOG Leader and FM8 & PREDATOR PADS. Most of the voices were recorded by Soliman himself. Rythm & drums where composed via abbleton personalized Drumracks, Drumazon drum machine VST or 808 emulator or via MASCHINE NATIVE INSTRUMENT. 
The Mendo remix is  pure dancefloor tech house loop as expected whereas the Villanova remix explores in details the techno side with a unique hardware sound. 

Soliman : One of the main parisian newcomer artist, Soliman has signed some releases on Harthouse (founded by sven vath in 1992), RAWthentic (Carlo Lio's imprint) , VIVa MUSiC (alongside his german friend and artist « SANTÉ »), JETT, Escapisme Musique, Regular,. He did some good remixes for artists such as Max Bett, Aldo Cadiz, Nakadia, Leghau, Superslut, Oscar Sala et Fran Alberola, Citizen Kain on labels such as Tanzbar, Neverending, My Little Dog, Bluf'in, JETT, Form Music etc …..

Patrick Kunkel : Working for 9 years as the Cocoon rec digital label manager, he just quit cocoon to work for Redbull few weeks ago. Patrick kunkel artistic carreer began in 1997 by playing in sevral bands but he really focused on studio work around 2009 by releasing tracks on labels such as Micro.fon, International Freakshow and keinemusik or by collaborating with Guy Gerber for teh track called « Sleeping in a Bass Box ». In the last years Patrick released 2 remixes on Cocoon Recordings and also produced the Ibiza-Spotlight-Podcast for Cocoon Recordings, which represents the sound of the label for the summer 2010+ the Bonus Mix for the „Sound Of The Eleventh Season“ by Sven Väth. He also mixed the retrospective Mix-CD oft he „ 11 Years Cocoon Recordings“.  German hammer !!!! 

Mendo : 
Mendo means it when he says, “Music is the most important thing in my life.” The striking new star of the Cadenza crew has devoted 18 years of his life to dance music – and he is bursting with enthusiasm for the next 18. Born in Geneva to Spanish parents, Mendo’s first encounter with electronic music was through pirate radio. 
 in 2003 he and Chab founded Clarisse Records. Mendo released a string of hits on Clarisse including “Play Me With Your Sound” which Roger Sanchez snapped up for Stealth Records.
Thanks to his tireless production work and infectious DJ sound Mendo reached all the right ears. Luciano was so impressed he signed “Remember” EP to Cadenza Records in 2009 and “Encantos” EP in 2010. This was the beginning of an exciting collaboration which has seen Mendo join the Vagabundos to ignite Pacha and Ushuaia in Ibiza. When he’s not running with the Cadenza crew, Mendo is globe-trotting to destinations as diverse as, Japan, South America, USA , Germany and UK, giving fans a chance to soak up his incredible four decks Traktor sets that blend the best of house, live sampling and techno futurism. Mendo plays at some of the best clubs on the planet: Womb, Tokyo; Panoramabar, Berlin; Cielo, New York; and D-Edge in Sao Paulo. "The key to a successful party is to get girls dancing. Once they dance, everybody does,” Mendo says. “I just want people to have a good time with my music.” Mendo is currently working on productions including “Stages of Life” EP for Cadenza, and has a packed DJ schedule. But he thrives on pressure. “It is exciting to produce a song, then play in front of thousands of people and make them hysterical,” he says. “DJing is the best job in the world.”


Villanova : Adrien and Marc Antoine teamed up in spring 2012 to form VILLANOVA. Their first release ''Mothafunk Ep'' on Denote records received general acclaim from music critics,producers and djs. Supported by artists such as Steve Bug,Arnaud Rebotini,David August, Ryan Crosson,Ivan Smagghe or Jamie Jones, their music got played in every big music spots for the last months.They perform live or dj and always captivate the crowd with their good humor,technical skills and perfect selection of sexual house and tech house gems.Laurent Garnier and Agoria are keeping an eye on them and they got voted one of ''coup de coeur'' 2012 by TRAX magazine,what's coming for Villanova seems pretty good.

1605 proudly presents Tech House chart toppers Pleasurekraft and their new single "Satyr Song". Inspired by a line uttered to them by a homeless man in Miami last year, the duo recorded vocals, took their signature sound and injected it with a big shot of adrenaline - giving it a bigger, housier feel than their previous work, with a more raw and street sensibility. Big chords, heavy groove, and a vocal commanding indulgence in the most hedonistic pursuits, this is truly a Satyr's song. 

On the remix, label leader Umek takes the original into big room territory with sharp vocal edits and his signature punch. Keeping everything airtight, the track blows off steam in the breakdown with carefully placed melodic elements and a thunderous build.

Landside is the  debut collaboration between Italian producers Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kúra.
The sound draws as much from the deep vibe and  melancholy ambience of Kúraʼs  reflective, dubby moods, as the more insistent groove of Hunter/Game's dancefloor roots.
Fanney Osk 's vocals  are like clear warm breath in a cold mountain breeze.  
Vibrating  waves are set against synths and melodic leads that break the languid feel like the arrival of an intense storm.

In this first remix EP, two wildly different producers offer up their own original takes.   
Max Cooper's remix is as gorgeous and melodic as always, setting Fanney's vocals floating over a sea of warm synth work and surprisingly driving percussion.  Benjamin  Damage, meanwhile, fires hard into the dancefloor, digging  a channel of tough grooves  within the ambient melodies and mellow vocals.

Germany‘s Motorcitysoul drop the ‚soul‘ and transform themselves into ‚MotorcityACID‘ with ‚Bass En Provence‘. A mighty 303 bass line tweaks while ungodly synths warble on top of the madness.

Up and coming UK producer Owain K supplies a really haunting acid track complete with some really classy vintage percussion and a squelching lead line. Similarly, Vincenzo &amp; Tyson Balard feed our analog appetites with more soaring 303 action and a classic stomping new jack groove.

Leading hallucinators Kink &amp; Neville Watson really freak us out with ‚Sleepless‘ - a dark dirty and raving track that makes no compromises and sends us sky high with its multiple acid lines and driving drums.

Sasse is back with a storming, flanging monster in ‚Cassopolis‘. 707 drums work the floor while a reminiscent string line leads the 303 tweaks into the night.

Time is running. Nothing reveals that ugly truth better than upcoming anniversaries. It still feels like just a couple of years ago, that we started this label, but surely we all know how much we can trust these kinds of feelings. No friends, it’s been 15 years, a whole lotta more than an average marriage these days.

Well, we can’t change that, so just put the shock aside and do what we are doing right now: Turn on your stereo, get into the sound and celebrate 15 Golden Years of Moonbootique Rec. releases with us. We asked label artist and long time companion Ante Perry to create two mixes for us: One from the vault of time and one with recent releases. This compilation is the outcome and we are more than happy with it!

On CD1, Ante Perry takes us way back into the past to the beginning of his own artist career with tracks like „Beachpower“ or "Human You“, but also the great works of artists as Stereofunk (nowadays better known as PurpleDiscoMachine), Bodymovin or Moston & Malente (running their own label NoBrainer besides releasing on various labels like Katermukke, and others). Of course we also find some classic MOONBOOTICA material here and even a rare KoweSix remix. We must truly say, we almost forgot some of these cuts and were flushed with warm feelings and memories of a time, when electro was on the rise and things seemed to be less complicated then today.

CD2 deals with brandnew (Ante Perry’s exclusive track "The Axis Of Awesome"), new (2015 – 2016) and recent (2014) releases. 
After focusing on MOONBOOTICA for a couple of years, we decided to concentrate on the label again sometime around 2014. 
Finding fresh artists and giving the label a new face was something very personal for us and with the likes of Curry & Krawall, FromDropTillDawn, Valentina Black & Less Hate, Julian Wassermann or Township Rebellion, we sure have gathered some truly gifted and inspiring artists. Ante Perry himself will put out a new EP on our fine label simultaneously to this Mix Compilation and this will just be the start off for the next 15 Golden Years of Moonbootique Records!

The journey has just begun…
