As we are completing one year of our podcast series we think its just perfect to celebrate it with a special episode, mixed by the label owners Lukas & Fernanda Martins (BRA).

If you are a fan of HardTechno (or Schranz, for some of you), or just maybe someone who got curious once about his electronic music style, you probably know very well who are Dj Lukas and Fernanda Martins. 
The couple started djing in Brazil. Lukas started in 2000, and besides his dj work he is one of the names behind the creation and development the Techno scene in his hometown, Campinas, as he was promoting the style in his own clubs ‘Play’ & ‘Kraft Club’ and parties. As producer, Dj Lukas has released in all the greatest HardTechno Labels, and in many of the pioneer labels of the style, such as: Killaz Records, Nerven Records, Emetic, Cannibal Society, Mental Torments, Distorted Germany, Domestic Violence, Synopsis, Jackstar Recordings and a huge etc. Of course on his on Label AudioCode you can find tracks and remixes from him, solo and in collaboration with another artists:

Fernanda Martins started some years later; in 2005, and in just few years she was already known as one of the most influential djanes in the world´s Techno scene. Her work in the studio stared in 2009 and you can find releases & remixes from Fernanda on Mental Torments, Distorted Germany, HardTechno Basterds Recs, Alma Soul Music and Pink About It! Recs. On AudioCode Records she released a remix on ‘There is no Tomorrow’ EP (AC34) and she will be releasing in 2016 an EP, called ‘Alpha Female’.

Their great and consistent work inside the dj booth, in the studio and with AudioCode Records, made them a reference of this style.

BIOGRAPHY:

Adam Szvetek aka SveTec:

Studying in a musical primary school and learning to play several musical instruments (three years of piano and 8 years of flute) both played a very important role in developing his musical competence.

1996: At this time, leaving the serious part-songs behind, he starts to be interested in electronic music instead.

In 2000 being a producer was a part of his life and, though with elementary equipment he only reached to elementary music, he devoted almost his whole life to this.

2002: Smaller parties were lost in the shadows of mega events and from the experience of this new atmosphere he took his first steps to the other side of the dj desk. 

After 2005 his work as a producer seemed to become mature and in proof of this famous performers started to spin his pieces such as dj Rush, Pet Duo, O.B.I., Sven Wittekind and others. His first released music was "I Will Be Your Dentist" which came to light in the seventh issue of the Distorted Records. Thanks to O.B.I it was possible for him to edit his first solo EP, as well, which had the title of Thirst For Irritation EP (Distorted 008). From now on he was unstoppable.

2008: One of the biggest agencies, namely the Artillery Booking Management lead by Dj Amok, was aware of his talent and besides, the Spanish 5 Minds Bookings Management signed an exclusive contract with him covering the whole Spanish region.

Considering his performances, 2009 brought him the real breakthrough. 

By now, he played loads of different countries in Europe and in South America too. He traveled to Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia and Brazil. In 2012 he also got his first Venezuelan tour and also in this year he also became a part of Criminal Booking management.

He represented himself on many famous events, such as, NatureOne, Decibel Outdoor Festival, Djax It Up XL, SchranzTanz, Escalate, We Wish Techno, Footworxx, Hard Station, Elementz Festival or on the Spanish Montagood Festival where nearly 10000 electronic music fanatics were stepping equally to the beat filled with rumbling bass. 
Thanks to his singularly hard and special sounding, rows of labels (Mental Torments, Artillery, Animasola, Cannibal Society, Combat Skill, Cause, Domestic Violence and many more) asks for his music to publish. He remixed already for Dj Ocram, ViperXXL or O.B.I., over and above he collaborated with Pet Duo, Instigator, Sepromatiq and many more other artists.

In 2014 he left Criminal and Artillery booking agencies and continued his career under the flag of Cubbo booking management. 

Through the last few years he stood behind the same desk together with many techno and all the hard techno legends and he became a dominant figure of the hard techno sounding and scene.
To his style and taste the harder but not too dry hard techno stands closer. In his sets, chiefly with his own work as a producer, he tries to mark out from the monotone and sometimes grey, crowded beats.

Known for his unique mixing technique - which according to many witnesses is close to perfection - and for his singular vibrating and energetic performances; Lukas does not leave anyone indifferent when he takes command of the DJ booth. His connection with the crowd is exceptional something that he developed over the years playing in some of the best clubs and festivals all over the globe.

Lukas started his DJ career in 2000. His great technical ability, superbness in the mixes, and his vigorous way of expressing himself through music made him one of the most respected DJs in the Brazilian Techno scene.

His rich knowledge of the industry and his intense commitment in in-numerous projects helped to expand the electronic music culture in Brazil which eventually brought him even more respect worldwide beyond simply being a prominent DJ. He was a resident DJ at the legendary Club A Loca and Lov.e Club, as well as leading projects such as Club Play, Kraft Club and the Techardia party, which placed his city, Campinas, on the map of the electronic scene.

In 2004 he made his first tour in Europe and became known internationally. As expected, the European public acceptance was outstanding and Lukas spent the following 2 years traveling the old continent to perform at some of the most important  clubs and festivals.

Since 2007 he lives in Barcelona, Spain, where he continued to evolve in his career, managing his record labels and developing his impeccable work in the studio.

All these premises make Lukas an unique artist within the world's Techno scene with no sign to stop anytime soon, on the contrary, these are just chapters of an epic tale.

Lukas plays, produces, feels, lives and breathes this music and is fortuned to show his talent by doing what he loves!
