Hard Techno / Schranz

@hardtrax began to shape dark hard-techno as a sub-genre of the early German hard-techno or schranz movement at the beginning of the 2000s, drawing influences from both 90's techno-sounds as well as from raw hardcore-techno.
The rough and tough sounds created by HardtraX have been pressed onto vinyl-records through many different major hard-techno labels of all time, with no less than 33 records released in less than a decade. Subsequently, many international artists have included this vinyls into their sets and played HardtraX' distinctive productions to ravers all around the world.
After all these years of releasing music and playing all around the world, HardtraX has not lost anything from his skills and passion, but he even extended his activities to the creation of audio production tools such as sample packs and MIDI kits. Furthermore, HardtraX' latest collaborations with O.B.I. and Dunkelkammer have led to great international recognition with many major industrial techno DJs supporting the new German vocal techno productions.

Excited to announce the launch of our podcast series with a breathtaking dj-set of SlugoS, recorded during his night in Obxene Berlin. 1 hour and half of pure energy, hard techno and industrial lines, immersed in Berlin crowd vibes!

SlugoS was born in 1989 in Madrid, Spain. At age of 16 he started to be interested in
electronic music. With time, he found himself deeply connected with Techno, more
particularly, with the darkest and hard branches of this style.
It didn't take long until he started to push himself into production and mixing. One of his
firsts gigs was at the famous Fabrik Club in Madrid. Since then, he has performed in clubs
and festivals all over Europe and South America.
As a producer he has been working non-stop since the beginning of his career and today
you can find his tracks in Techno sets as well as HardTechno/Schranz mixes. Labels like
Sacred Court, Soma Quality Recordings, Cannibal Society, Gomboc Records, Opera 2000
among others, have released SlugoS tracks.
Nowadays his sound turned more industrial, mental and oppressive. Taking back the mood
of the hard techno roots but keeping a vanguardist view in his sets and productions. All this
is reflected in his latest project, a vinyl record label called CAEDITE EOS.

Não demorou muito até que ele começou a se dedicar à produção e mixagem. Um dos seus seus primeiros shows foram no famoso Fabrik Club em Madrid. Desde então, ele se apresentou em clubes e festivais por toda a Europa e América do Sul.
Como produtor trabalha sem parar desde o início da carreira e hoje você pode encontrar suas faixas em sets de Techno, bem como mixagens deHardTechno/Schranz. Selos importantes como Corte Sagrada, Soma Quality Recordings, Cannibal Society, Gomboc Records, Opera 2000 entre outros, lançaram faixas do SlugoS.
Hoje em dia seu som se tornou mais industrial, mental e opressivo. Recuperando o clima das raízes do hard techno, mas mantendo uma visão vanguardista em seus sets e produções. Tudo isso se reflete em seu mais recente projeto, uma gravadora de vinil chamada CAEDITE EOS.

No tardó mucho tiempo en empezar a dedicarse a la producción y a la mezcla. Una de sus primeras actuaciones fue en Fabrik Club de Madrid. Desde entonces, ha actuado en clubes y festivales por toda Europa y Sudamérica.
Como productor ha estado trabajando sin parar desde el principio de su carrera y actualmente puedes encontrar temas suyos tanto en sesiones de Techno como de HardTechno/Schranz. David Balogh  a.k.a. Dave Blunt was born in 1988 in Budapest, Hungary.  His very firsts contact with the music was in early 90s, in that period, music styles as dance and house music were in his playlists. He started to move toward the grunge trend of the scene bands Nirvana and then the late 90s. Early in 2000’s he tasted, several different styles such as hip hop, metal, etc. ... then 2003-2004 influenced by friends he discovered techno and hardcore. Artists such Chris Liebing, DJ Rush, Monika Kruse and were very important to him b that time. In 2005, he discovered Hard Techno and immediately knew that that was his electronic music style. In 2010 he started making his own Hard Techno tracks and nowadays his tracks are being playing on all HardTechno/Schranz sets you can find!
