SOLID AS THE CLOCK

Solid As The Clock (2020) is the solo album by the Spanish singer High Paw. It has been produced, recorded and edited in collaboration with the music label Cool Up Records. Including 7 songs and a “bonus track”, the album will be available on different formats as vinyl, CD and also for digital download. In ‘Solid As The Clock’, High Paw is expressing her views or concerns on different issues on Digital Reggae and Rub a Dub riddims. Those are genres that fit especially High Paw’s style as she flows easily. Evoking the elegance and protest from the deejay style in the 80s, her music combines entertaining at the same time that points out cultural issues. Including catchy lyrics with a conscious background.  

The visual art has been made by another member of the music label, Mr John Vanilla. Adding his unique style to this project, inspired by comics, super heroes and animation series. He has created an artwork that represents the album and its message. To sum up, this album is the result of a combination of many talented artists, including great musicians who make shine every instrument in the right measure.

Doctor Red was created in 2009 with two musicians, Lolo (percussionist & sampler) and Yvan (bassist). Both of them have travelled quite a lot with their instruments in different formations, in order to meet the world rhythms, which then unite around the same passion: Dub Music!

It was in 2011 when Doctor Red recorded its first release with the international MC Brother Culture and met Catali, a multilingual and activist singer as you can hear on the album “United Colors of Dub”… At the same time, Doctor Red perfomed live and produced the two vinyls of the “Warrior Dub” project following the philosophy of Do It Yourself… In 2018, Doctor Red released “The Call Of The Dragon” on the label Marée Bass, mixed in the studios of Jarring Effects. and brought the crew at the center of the underground French Dub scene.

With this new EP "All is One", Doctor Red provides you with the stereo-corticoid first aid kit to help the recovery of your inner balance with the experienced advice of Sir Jean and Ma Kata. Their revolutionary Dub-Therapy, approved by the Order of Deejays around the world, has proven to work miraculously even in the most desperate cases. They will prescribe your daily médication of massive Dub here with two new trials, available without a prescription.

Mastering wykonano w legendarnym już reaggowym studio AS One w Warszawie.
