Dedicated to some folks in my life who've picked me up along the way, especially through music...

This is one I'm pretty proud of.  Oddly, it's the first time I’ve written a full original song with me singing my own lyrics. I'm joined by the uber talented @TexMex-Shaman, who is wielding the lead electric guitar starting at the first verse through to the end. (this is the second time now where my vocal melody is partly inspired by his magical playing!) He also lends his mastering skillz to great effect here. Thanks TMS for truly bringing this to life with your playing! 
All other instruments are played by me on the keyboard - acoustic guitar, bass, organ, Wurlitzer electric piano, 2nd electric guitar (the higher one in verse 2), horns, drums & percussion, words and voice. The chorus is supposed to sound like a 60's soul song, like Marvin Gaye meets Van Morrison. 
If you play this more than once I'm sorry but I'm afraid you'll be stuck with it in your head all day.  :)

This one's a personal one for me, so thanks for listening, and for picking us up with your music!

A piano song that I recorded on January 31, 2025. While I have goofed around with piano in my life, I have never ever recorded a track by myself. I just put my cell phone using GarageBand, on my upright piano, and pushed record! I hadn’t even touched the piano in about five years! I sent this over to my awesome online band, Eclectic Collective. They were more than enthusiastic to add some orchestration.! it definitely falls in the classical/rock category! Check out the full version at K2 and the Three! I promise you won’t be disappointed ! Awesome players and producers ! ￼Josh Clary, Stephen Watkins, Mark Boucher, and Tez Terrill! Note: 'Psychedelic Dance Well Shadow' - is spelled downwards on the left hand side. Strangely, this form of writing does limit your scope, however it makes a decision for you on every line so in a way it can help your flow as you are forced into a foundation for every sentence and not left with thinking of everything each time for each line. You have direction. This can remove writing blockages sometimes. Having technical reasons that inspire can sometimes be as important as your intuition when deciding on an idea. The technicality you bring in can always activate your intuition so I'd recommend considering it as a kick starter if ideas aren't coming your way. Add to that, the technique  encourages poetic licence so gets the imagination running in different directions so it's excellent brain food
