We're Not In Kansas Anymore (Somewhere Over The Rainbow)

This track was made entirely from a 4 second long recording I that I captured myself on a Zoom H2N microphone of me squeezing the last little bit out of an almost empty honey bottle. I really loved the textures in the sound, so I made a track out of it. Literally, every single sound you hear is only that one sample (I play it completely unedited at the very end).

A beautiful, culminating, fleeting moment. You didn't know you were in it until it was here, and once you realized you were there it was gone. It's reminiscent of where you stared, but something is different now. A realization that everything is interconnected. Each point in the web is it's own unique entity, but it is also just a small part of something much grander. Impossibly complex. A presence that permeates throughout all that is. The infinite now. Wholeness. Ouroboros.

Growing up in the age of the NES and Sega Genesis had a big impact on the way I approach sound design and composition in general, so this was a really fun thing for me to make. Hope you all enjoy :D
