Sonespheres 01: Distance is an atmospheric synth, texture and soundscape library, featuring the sound design of the amazing Blake Ewing. The library was created using acoustic source recordings of a variety of instruments and voices. The general theme is a deep selection of over 300 stylized and carefully sound designed lead and support instruments with a warm, detailed and intricately nuanced character.

Blake Ewing: "In my mind, with few exceptions, music supports and invokes a certain storytelling. Hearing certain timbres and frequencies together triggers something in most of humanity. A place. A time. A memory. An emotion. A sense of urgency or hope. A needed comfort. A broken heart. Real or concocted, the effect is universal.

This belief and these experiences affect me not only as a person, but inspire me as an artist. To that end, I’m proud to have helped create a set of tools that will hopefully act as a starting canvas for your own productions. My hope is that you as musicians will use these sounds as the hazy, ethereal, ambiguous base, on which to bring into sharp focus your own artistic visions - Be it in support or your stories, or those of the others with whom you work.

In Distance, I’ve tried to be thorough without being repetitive - to offer sounds that might work in a range of production styles and musical sensibilities. From longing solo instruments and heartbreaking pads to tense bowed textures and forward-leaning rhythms, I truly hope there’s something here for everyone."

Soundiron's Granada 49 is a vintage 49-key analog synth from the 1970s. This early portable synthesizer was originally manufactured by a now defunct Italian organ maker Fesma. Rare and highly sought-after, little is known about the origins of this instrument, though the instrument's classic wooden exterior echoes the popular aesthetics of the 1970s, during which time the instrument is thought to be produced. We’ve captured it’s old-school fat, creamy tone in 9 classic waveform shapes, with infinite sustains and tight staccatos. But to take this far beyond an ordinary analog synth sample library, we’ve pacjed the GUI with tons of deep control features and created 20 awesome sound-designed custom synth and effects presets and 40 unique sound-designed  ambiences that can  be played chromatically as atmospheric synths, dronescapes and pads or used directly in your DAW for underscoring and texture.
