The last EP from Aimoon on Outburst gained some really big support  from a lot of top trance DJ’s around the globe! Well now he’s back with an equally big (if not bigger) EP for the label. We kick off with ‘The Dark Side’ which leads the charge on the release with it’s absolutely blinding lead riff, mysterious pianos, cool vocal chops, slick FX and a rather well known vocal sample. This is followed by another gem of a track called ‘Hyperdrive’ which hits hard and builds all the way to the breakdown with it’s bubbling acid-lines before we get to the huge Aimoon-style lead riff, followed by the ultimate pay-off..a massive and twisted drop! What can we say about Alex Di Stefano that we havn’t said already? His finely tuned and extremely creative techno (and trance) productions are responsible for him being booked at a huge chunk of the biggest clubbing events around the globe recently like Subculture BA, Open Up, JOOF Editions, Ozmozis etc etc. This barrage of productions doesn’t look as if it’s going to slow down any time soon either, as we continue his story on Techburst with his 3rd release on the label – a really fierce double-header EP! As the title suggests ‘Battlefield’ shouldn’t be taken lightly: with it’s ‘armed & ready’ techno artillery it pounds along with massive ‘BXR’ flavoured vocal stabs, twisted FX, raw percussion, massive frenzy-inducing build-ups and rocking groove. Space Raven (aka S.H.O.K.K.) has been around for many years but he has been making a bit of a come-back in the trance scene recently. With his track ‘Cosmologia’ he really goes for the jugular vein with this slamming tech-trancer which is very original and different sounding to his normal sound. Next up is Sylvermay with his debut track ‘Redlight’, which also isn’t for the faint-hearted with it’s full on ‘big room’ tech sound! JTR serves up a monster for us as well with his slick offering in the shape of ‘Ziggurat’, and last but not least we have Brian Kuhn with ‘Deal With It’ which is yet another relentless trance stormer which rounds the full EP up in style.
