EML Recordings introduces new artist Audio Lad with the Single #RUSH, released via digital retailers on 28.10.13. Following on from his first EP, “Bullet”, Audio Lad has offered up this Hard Electro House masterpiece.

With a diverse joint CV that includes remixes for Lady Gaga and playing for the British Royal Family, James Fussey & Tom Belton have an eclectic musical arsenal that spans 10 years in the music industry.

Audio Lad is a group project that was started by James & Tom in 2011 and encapsulates the sound of energetic Electro House. 

After studying classical music at The Royal Academy of Music, James has written for Interscope records as a producer and has released his first EDM EP called "Bullet". He both DJ's and produces under the name Audio Lad and produces in many different genres including Electro House, Deep House, Garage & Lounge.

With a diverse joint CV that includes remixes for Lady Gaga and playing for the British Royal Family, James Fussey & Tom Belton have an eclectic musical arsenal that spans 10 years in the music industry.

Audio Lad is a group project that was started by James & Tom in 2011 and encapsulates the sound of mainstream EDM that has swept the commercial pop market by the likes of David Guetta and Calvin Harris.

Tom is a producer and composer with extensive mix engineering experience, focusing primarily on pop and electronic music. Tom cut his teeth at Townhouse studios and has worked on sessions for artists such as Mary J Blige, Muse, Damon Albarn, Placebo, Take That and Estelle among many others. Remix credits include Lady Gaga, Jamiroquai, Simply Red, White Lies and Cold Cut. Recent media projects include producing music for assorted advertising, television and video game projects, including PlayStation 3 games ‘The Fight: Lights Out’ and ‘Rag Doll Kung-Fu’, and advertising and TV projects for Hugo Boss, Sky, Coca Cola and Nickelodeon.

James came from the opposite end of the music industry having won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London where he studied trumpet for 4 years and played trumpet many times in private concerts for members of the British Royal Family and also notably playing with the Orchestra at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.

James’ producing career started just 6 years ago and after 7 months won the bedroom producer competition on the Dave Pearce BBC Radio 6 Dance Anthems show. He subsequently went on to be signed to small indie label Urban Sickness Audio and released single "It's All About You" which alerted the attentions of Interscope Records in LA which led to him being flow to Los Angeles to write for newly signed pop acts. James and Tom met in 2011 and worked together on projects for Interscope Records before finally working on their own music under the name Audio Lad. “Bullet Through The Night” is their first release.
