I grew up in the 80s, but the 90s really shaped me. I don't know if it just feels that way today or if it's true... it was a time that was so much easier than now. We thought anything was possible and we could change the world. And we celebrated that every weekend, whether in small clubs or at big mega raves. The biggest holiday of all was the second weekend in July, the weekend of the Love Parade in Berlin. From 1993 to the early 2000s it was a regular part of my life. Unfortunately, what happened afterwards can also be a sad story.
When this track was finished, I realized that this sound from back then obviously still accompanies me today... Every year I think back to this great and crazy time a little wistfully and hope that this exuberant and carefree feeling lives on somewhere.

After a long break I present my new track here. It's my attempt to try something different, a little different from the four to the floor sound. "Take off" is an ambient track with a slow build up and experimental sounds. I have more styles to produce in the future. 2020 is a year in standby mode. We have to do without many things that we were looking forward to. A highlight for me would have been the Pet Shop Boys Tour this year, which was postponed to the next year.
That's why I tried to cover one of my favorite songs and rearrange them as an instrumental version. All sounds come from "Halion" and different software synths. I hope you like my version.

and I am "Audiomaker" and would like to welcome you to my Soundcloud page. My real name is Torsten Schardt. I have been make music in my spare time for several years. With my small but fine setup, consisting of constantly changing synthesizers, groove boxes, drum machines and a laptop, I produce a wide variety of electronic music styles in my living room, from electropop, to house and techno or even breakbeats. It's a hobby for me and I only do it for fun. So be a little understanding if everything doesn't sound perfect, like it came from a professional studio.
