[Deep Delicious Medicine] ~ Global Ecstatic Dance Journey 🌀

As the Sun shines it's face shamelessly, it is an invitation for us all to step outside and celebrate the light of life and all creation.

This Set was curated to inspire a dance between the soul, body, and world- to awaken hearts and minds to enjoy and savor this moment for what it's worth, and especially, to move a little bit. 

There is medicine for us all in remembering that life can be experienced on whatever terms we permit ourselves to know. It helps to have a good soundtrack in the background, or even forefront, allowing us to embrace the diversity of different tones, colors, languages, and possibilities we have to play amongst and choose from in going about our daily life's. While we can't control external circumstance, such as how the sun will always rise again, we do get to choose what songs we wish to accompany us to best compliment and enjoy the highest truth of our potential expirience.

The Sun asks us not to go outside in forgetting or escaping the troubles of this world, but to step fully into it's truth and bask in the warmth and radiance that gives life to all expressions, allowing ourselves to become fully present to this expirience of being we all share, and step out of our shell to announce back to our source of light, "YES, I AM HERE! What can i do to serve you? How can I show up as fully as possible- to make the most of this life, of this passing time and seasons while I'm still here. How best can I ride the wave of motion, the changing of the moment between the highs and the lows, and make the most of this ever in-between?".

The best answer I've found upon my journey is to simply get outside and Dance. Dance with life. Dance with family. Dance with friends. Dance with the animals. Dance with the trees. Dance with the Sun and sky. Dance with the earth. Dance with yourself. And dance with the cosmos. Open up to summer's invitations and let stagnant energies you've been holding come out to see the light through your full unbridled expression. 

We are part of a vast universal symphony of alternating dimensional patterns and intersecting sequences of cosmic unity- and within the seeming chaos lies the unending potential to remember the music that weaves the difference into beautiful melody. Summer time is a time when the song of life is at it's peak, and while each transition, break, and build up makes the journey complete, the time of greatest light invites us all to celebrate the mere beauty, timeless significance, and freedom in where we're at on this incredible planet of magic and mystery like never before. With nature at it's fullest expression and expansion, we are also asked to remember we are HERE.

My wish is for this Set to help inspire some excitement, inspiration, and good vibrations within you to accompany, guide, and compliment the opening of your heart and mind these summer days. 

And when dancing, please, for the sake of enabling the rest of life to remember it's natural state of expression, be shameless in your glory, in your love, in your light, in your joy, just like the Sun that birthed the spark of life that burns within you, just waiting to be unleashed in all of it's creative brilliance to shine the light of heaven's celebration on earth. 

Celebrate yourself. Celebrate life. Celebrate where we are, how far we've come, and the infinite waves of change ahead of us. It's all music. It's all a dance.

When we play our part to show up as fully and freely as we can, we send ripples of this ever-available light within to inspire the world to join us in the setlist we are always co-creating. Through darkness and troubles, each day is a new chance to know the sun once again. 

In all of it's fullness, in all of it's diversity, in all of it's craziness, life in itself is something to celebrate. And so, as summer opens up it's arms to our unending questions and concerns, only one clear choice remains. Shine.

Sun Set

A bit of a switch up from my last mix, which was more up-beat and Sun-lit, on this New Moon our journey here brings us much nearer to the ground - opening us to the indigenous echo’s that have sang and made music for mystical and healing purposes throughout the globe since the dawn of humanity.

In the Northern hemisphere the Winter is now here, and before it is fully time to reach up for the sky again, we must first find sanctuary in the internal space within us; And it is my deep expirience and belief that the main challenge we as a species must now work through on our path towards the ascension our hearts all long for, is a spiritual illness of sorts - one which only a collective soul retrieval can cure. 

And for that, we need a Medicine that goes deeper then that which modern western culture offers us to cover up and tend to the surface level symptoms. For this resurrection of our deepest inner-most beings, we need to look to those still living in harmony with the ways of nature: knowing medicine as a way of life, and how every thought, word, song, and element of nature can be utilized as an ally for healing purposes.

Despite the timeless wisdom seeded in our conscious connection to nature having long been stepped upon in the construction of the mechanical western worldview, today, a resurrection of the Modern Mystic long prophecized by indigenous tribes from all corners of the earth is now transpiring even amidst the most unlikely of places. This uprise of beings of all colors, ages, and backgrounds is set out not for a revolution per-say, but rather for an Evolution from a place of fight and resistance, to one of the warrior-hood of deep love that will bring balance and awareness to the electronic empire currently taking with no remorse in its quest to produce the false connection it kill's the true heart of in the process. And yet each day, more of us are awakening and rising to the calls and cries of the earth and of the collective heart of her inhabitants, begging us now as one to remember where and who we are, and what it is we have truly come into this world to live for.

Like so, we allow ourselves to collapse and surrender to something greater then us - the whispers of our ancestors, the teachings of the plants, the ally-ship of the animals, the love of our planet, the light of the stars we come from, and the blessings of the whole universe; in this way serving as bridges for all that once was to be healed THROUGH us, so that we may clear the way as we rise in our spirit-dance for the new generations to cross over the grounds we have planted with reverence for the medicine present today.

I have always experienced the Music in my world as my greatest source of light. These artists- outrageous expressers of the human soul in all if its ineffability, are the Medicine Men and Women of our time. As i listen to the music being broadcasted in the mainstream these days, i feel this original flame of purpose and virtue has been exploited and forgotten. It is for this reason that I find myself today being naturally drawn to the organic sounds of diversity channeled through cultures and peoples still rooted in a sense of belonging to the land, and living in the presence of mind, heart, and body as one; and it is with this awareness and intention for connecting to the shamanic states of altered consciousness of original humans that this playlist of modernized groove’s has been curated.

May all the prayers of the artists sampled on these tracks, of the producers, as well as of those singing and praying and healing all over the world come together to bring us back into the ways in which we always were meant to be. Together in ceremony, dancing around the fire. And may we remember that we are all healers as well as patients, and from HERE produce art and sing forth our future to support one another's journeys back home - to ourselves and one another.

Numerologically / Energetically- I attribute the number 3 to be the vibration of Opening Creativity, Joyous Connection, and Loving Communication. EXPANSION is the word.

3 is the number of the creation that the 2 make. It goes from just a couple, to a network / team. It is the blossoming child- symbolising the expansion from mere polarty into the unfoldment of the infinite manifestion. It is the trinty. It is sooo good.

The fact it is tripled makes it all the more powerful- a true portal of expansion and opening in everyway. We are being rebirthed and slingshotted into the new horizon.

~ Metamorphosis ~

"We stand at the threshold of a great dawning. Something deep within life is changing. An era is ending & at the very core of creation, something new is being born. We are awakening from a long, collective sleep, an in-vitro dreaming deep within the womb of our Mother Earth. Now is the time of a great shifting of cosmic wheels, which will result in the reformation of our Earth & trigger a radical shift in consciousness. A galactic tidal wave of light is descending upon the Earth, activating the highest potential, raising the frequency. Reality is being reformed, redefined. The butterfly is a marvellous demonstration of the power of trust & vulnerability & in the miracle of metamorphosis. After all, what is a butterfly if not the flowering of caterpillar beyond its wildest dreams? Emerging from the womb of the chrysalis, the butterfly discards its restrictive silk and shell, to inherit a magical new world of flowers, breezes & sunshine. A world of freedom & delight & a celebration of its divine nature. Spreading her wings for the first time, she has no idea whether she can fly, she simply opens her wings in perfect confidence & is effortlessly conveyed into the spiral dance of graceful flight.
And all that then remains is the joyous participation in the divine ecstasy of creation.

As you turn your light inward & witness your true nature, you become an empty mirror & go beyond beliefs or doctrines. Dissolving the veils, the formless takes form. Going or coming, we are in the right place. As the veils are lifted, we will perceive worlds of unimaginable beauty. Self-transforming astral worlds of light will shine down & interpenetrate the density of matter, making it translucent, less dense, & more permeable to our thoughts & feelings. Multi-dimensional reality & the interconnectedness of all things will be as clear as sunlight. And just as the light is not separate from the sun & the wave is not separate from the ocean, so shall we realise our connection to the source & recognise ourselves in each other, as one vast ocean of love & light. 

Let the divine recognise the divine. Lights will find other lights. And as the spark ignites within you, so too will it ignite within others, in a majestic radiance of consciousness & set the world alight in its magnificence. A new world without fear, without war, without greed in the safe custodianship of an awakened species, manifesting peace with love, light & celebration.... May the children of the Earth understand that this is to be a birthing place for a new humanity. There's nothing quite like the morning... and it's always morning somewhere along this sacred Earth.

Upon this family tree, stretching upwards towards the Sun, like the birds, we human siblings are each singing our own unique, perfect note in the grand symphony of life awakening, to reflect the many brilliant colors on the spectrum of light.

As we as a species enter our collective spring into the dawning of the Golden Age, where all is rising up to the surface to be illuminated and revealed in the magnificence which this earth has nurtured as sacred, even when we, still sleeping, forgot how to see... that we are dreaming.

These songs here are all near and dear to my heart, many of which have been with me since the very beginning of, and even before my personal awakening journey over the past decade - but which still feel as fresh today. There are classics here from around the world in my book, as well as newer releases blossoming with the rise of multi-cultural, medicinal electronic and house music.

Play this first thing when you wake up, when the day is open with the timeless space to breathe, smile, stretch - and still infinitely dream and be filled with the prayers of healing and illumination being played by the exquisite global heart-beat dancing within the space in your heart, to songs from Israel, South America, Peru, The Middle East, Africa, Asia, and more...

Recorded Live for the "Harmonizing Humanity" Camp in the Burning Man Multi-Verse

Story Time:

in 2016, I took a greyhound to LA to barter for a Burning Man ticket, and then spent my last 100 dollars on a ride from there to Black Rock City. 

During my last night there, after the temple burn, I got called to go to the very left corner (a place I hadn’t yet explored) to see what was waiting for me. Nothing impressive. And yet something kept me there a little longer.

Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye - i recognized a glowing heart in the very distance... where I ended up pulling up to the beloved Robot Heart stage... tucked away in the corner of the playa, with no more then 30 or so other lucky wanderers who had discovered it with me.

And i danced there, all night; being carried deeper and deeper into my body, into the earth, into my soul as each hour passed in the cold, timeless desert - bringing the sun up. And overtime, the slow, minimalistic Deep House that was already so dear to me ~ began to resound some Hindu Mantras and Ethnic vocal samples...

It was ephemeral and foreign, yet familiar and right. And I knew I had struck gold. 

I wasn’t sure if I’d ever find anything like it outside of this space... but have since then been digging deep into this genre of tribal / ethnic / organic house...
And found home there.

4 years later, after spinning mostly this kind of music - i’m excited to share a little recording of some fresh favorites for my first set at Burning Man: playing for the Harmonizing Humanity camp on the Online Burner Multi-Verse.
