Scala & Kolacny Brothers   Nothing Else Matters

Born on 14th May in Deva (Hunedoara department), but living in Oradea (Bihor), Nyx, who landed from the world of advertising , is very experimented in web design, video editing and prepress. Due to a very close friend, Nyx started to vj different events and in a short period of time he realized that he could use his experience gathered over the years in a very creative and restraintless manner, so Nyx embraces a dynamic style during the shows he is invited in.
At the end of 2008, Nyx started to pay full attention to Drum’n’Bass scene in Romania. With help from Unknown Basics he got invited to events in this area thus diversifying his experience.
He is nominated at Nights.ro Awards for Best VJ in Romania in 2009 and 2010, each time ranking in top 10. In 2009 he is invited to perform at DELAHOYA festival adjoining resonant names like Oliver Hunteman, Marko Nastic or Horace Dan D.
2009 also brings his participation to the first edition of the Aquasound festival, together with well-known M.A.N.D.Y. or Audiojack.
In 2010 he returns to DELAHOYA invited as a VJ next to Funk D’Void, Paco Osuna, Pauli Steinbach and others.
In 2011 Nyx is reinventing himself, using techniques that include Quartz Composer, Augmented Reality or Projection Mapping. The same years begins with the invitation to Suncuius Fest, and after that for the 4th consecutive year he is invited as to DELAHOYA Festival together with artists like PAR GRINDVIK, TRES PUNTOS, MICHAEL PLACKE, SUIE PAPARUDE, GOJIRA and many more.
2012 finds him as a resident in a top club of Oradea, Avenue The Club. The same year follows with a summer residence on the Romanian seaside.
Since 2013, Nyx starts to step into the musical production and returns to Suncuius Festival, but this time in the role of co-organizer. 
Now he takes an active role in promoting electronic music events as one of the founders of the brand Sunside Events.
