Audio One brings you the first in a new series of hybrid dj/livesets "Hypnotica Vol 1", helping to define the Adelaide sound through a hypnotic, loop based approach to dance music, The Hypnotica series aims to push the boundaries beyond an ordinary djing approach, taking the loop element of a track and crafting a new sound from layering and manipulating loops/samples. Harking back to the days of the pioneers of loop based hypnotic techno/house in Adelaide, such as world renowned DJ HMC ("LSD""I Get Deeper") and labels such as Juice and Dirty House, Audio One attempts to define the Adelaide "Hypno" sound, through modern technology and a Hybrid DJ/live set methodology. Here we explore hard techno, using such an approach on "Hypnotica Vol 01".
