This is an ooold tune from the Kaotic Souls album, "When the Disease Becomes the Antidote"  Released on the Audiopharmacy Prescriptions label in 2002.  The song was recorded live in SF and in Berlin, Germany, then fused together for this album.  Fam fa' life.

“The Battle”, track 9 of Teao’s upcoming instrumental album – Moment, is a musical representation of a soul navigating through “a time where suffering and ignorance is at its peak, and humans are divided and are at war”. “The Battle” sequels track 8 - “True Colors” (which represents the process of raising one’s understanding of self and awareness of the suffering of others), and is about activism in a time when the dire state of humanity is in need of a positive response to injustices impacting Mama Earth and her people.  For the track, Teao plays the violin, charango, bass, percussion, drum programming, and features a Mridunga VS Turntable battle with Vijay Krsna of Kirtaniyas and DJ Offerings (Teao’s DJ alias).  He adds vocal samples from Tupac, Charlie Chaplin, Peter Tosh, Malcolm X, and Neale Donald Walsch – author of “Conversations with God”.

This Audio Cinema is dedicated to my late grandmother Grace Wong- spiritual mother to His Holiness, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje.

From incarnation to reincarnation, each of these instrumentals represents a different stage of life experienced by a human soul. This is a sampler of the full lenght "State Of The Heart" album.  It was performed and recorded over the course of 3 days, shortly after they arrived home from their 30 day tour in North Africa and the Middle East.  Morroco- Casablaca, Fez, Mohamadia, Salé, and Meknes, then Cypress and Oman.  All samples and electronic drums were triggered live during the studio performance just as you would see them perform it during a live concert.  This is Audiopharmacy's first live studio album.  Enjoy.
