I made this bass and melody out of my dog's beautiful singing voice :) my dog, mala, is my anchor in this life. she keeps me laughing and smiling and I genuinely don't know if I would've made it through the past 5 years without her. anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her knows how silly and special she is. I wanted to find a way to honor her and make it so she can live on forever through sound; this song is for that, and for all the dog lovers out there ❤️

Welcome to Rainy Day Breaks by Sound Designer & Producer-  Erik Jackson.

Rainy Day Breaks is a collection of drums you can use to liven up your song or create something totally different. Before Erik dismantled the Sunday Kit we retuned the drums and recorded these breaks. These are not your everyday drum breaks. They were recorded with complete precision and accuracy, changing from full to double tempo. All recorded at 90/180 BPM. There are not many breaks pack like this. Get your hands on a Breakbeat Gem and get to work!

Rainy Day Breaks were recorded with the Audix DP7 drum microphone pack. Each microphone was individually shaped and compressed by 9 separate Avalon 737 Pre Amps. If that is wasn't enough; all of the Avalon pre's were fed to an SSL Stereo Bus Compressor, then recorded to a Studer A 827.

Be prepared to chop in your favorite sampler and make some hits. Again, this is a BREAKS ONLY pack.

The demo song has other instruments to show you how great these will sound with your own samples. Demo was made with an MPC 2000X, Ableton Live and a turntable in real time.

"The Black Rain (Kuroi Ame)" and "The Pale Rain (Aoi Ame).""The Black Rain" which is to be the 6th of the serial release depicts the duality of human beings, the tears shed from endless sorrow and anger, and on the contrary, the strength to live through all such emotions. And it will be followed up by the 7th of the series, "The Pale Rain," which depicts the thawing and breathing of lives after surviving through all difficulties. The 2 sound-soul radiated in a strictly original manner. Never mind the bollocks, all it matters is to deliver something to people's hearts...

The quest for aesthetics continues.. Audiophysical - founded and fronted by André Lamb in Wellington, New Zealand circa 2006.
