606 and 303

Classic minimal acid house. It was inspired by Phuture Acid Tracks from 1987, but this type of acid track fits into both the 80s and the early 90s. 
There is a good amount of distortion and saturation going on as well, but it is tamed to a level, where the track is still mellow anf not too harsh.

Part two of my re-working of Fat Boy Slim’s classic ‘Everybody Needs a 303’ is now up for free download! This is the 'Re-Funk' which focuses on the funky bassline sampled in the original. Incidentally the bassline and the vocals come from Edwin Starr’s 1977 classic funk tune ‘Everybody Needs Love’. Edwin Starr is also who I've drawn in this picture! Enjoy! 😊
