We've reached the third part of our mix collaboration with Swedish electronic music festival Into The Valley, this edition comes from Swedish duo Gidge who brings forth a beautiful mix of superb jams filled with subtle and hypnotic groove.

"We wanted to make a mix that was dynamic, both in terms of which songs we used but also within the songs themselves. It’s got some new favorites as well as some old lovers in there. Music we like, simply put. Hope someone else does too."

Davis is an artist we've been following since he first slid onto our radar over a year ago and he never ceases to impress, crafting an intricate sound that brings constant simulation to the ear. @polynation created a pallet of all the music and genres that inspired them: "The tracks all have electronic characteristics with an organic feel. And although the first couple of tracks have a lot of energy because of the drumbeats, they’re also sort of meditative: a warm sound with a crossover between acoustic and electronic. Because of the organic sounds, you sometimes don’t even hear whether it’s a synth or an actual instrument. The last three tracks are drenched in melancholic beauty and vulnerability, something we’re looking for in our own productions as well: rhythmic percussion combined with melancholy." Enjoy their vision through this KROOKS offcast.

MITA MITA from Montpellier / France is taking control for the fifth episode of our Parquet Recordings Mixtape Series. MITA MITA was born in 2016 by the union of two French electronic artists. Alex Millan well known for his hit 'Ironik' on the prestigious label KOMPAKT, and Maxime Laffon known for his remarkable track 'Fusion' released on the famous label MINUS. Next to releases on labels like Toolroom, Bedrock or Exploited soon after, MITA MITA released their debut single "From Timeless Desire" in March 2016 on Parquet Recordings.
