Found what I was looking for...

During the afternoon in a field close to the small village of Benesti, some toads are singing, accompanied by a light wind and some birds. 

Recording by an ORTF Setup Schoeps CCM4 microphones in a Cinela Suspension ORTF. Recorded on a Sound Devices 633.

Toads singing during the afternoon, in a field in Romania

Gaet'ale Pond is the saltiest body of water on Earth. It is situated in Ethiopia's Danakil Depression, arguably the hottest and driest place on the planet. Bubbles of odorless but toxic gas  are continuously emitted from the lake surface, but also from holes in the ground next to it. The area is littered with bird and insect corpses.
