Words I wrote the day of Andrew Weatherall's death.  With the help of Sunset People (Garry Hensey)programming the drums and lending me his home studio to work things out, I finally put some original music to them.

In response to my The Boxer rant that I recorded the year before, I decided to show my gentler, more grateful side (despite the name).  With the Sonic Weekenders providing a minimal piano drum and guitar track and brilliant backing vocals of none other than Chad Jackson, the production from Matt Gunn lifts this one take vocal mistakes and all to a level I could never even dream of. Track from SW15 with lyrics inspired by J G Ballard by Mark E Pitt who along with Garry Hensey programmed a load of Volcas and a drum machine whilst Ben Soundhog synched the synths in the way only he could.  My Ungrateful Ambassador alter-ego provided the vocals and harmonies.  All expertly produced and directed by the magnificent Matt Gunn (Toffeetronic) and the churlishly charming Chad Jackson.

My show on Breaklondon is every Friday between 10pm & 12am (UK) and is called The Spangled Web  It is a continuous mix over two hours most weeks but sometimes features shorter mixes - The Button Pusher Mix, The Mid-Way Mix, Cheesey Quavers (Oldskool), and The Vinyl Countdown.
