Hailing from Montpellier in France, Sebastian and Gaby have successful releases on not only on UMEK's 1605 and Richie Hawtin's M_nus label, but are also crushing the charts with releases on their own imprints Legend and Scander. Their unique hybrid DJ style consisting of a very interesting combination of instruments gives them the possibility to create edits of tracks on the fly, so we are truly excited about publishing this one of a kind exclusive Cosmic Boys live set.

Cosmic Boys are a techno duo whose high velocity music is out of this world. Fast becoming genre leaders, the guys have charted No.1 on Beatport and collaborated with titans such as UMEK in addition to featuring onRichie Hawtin’s iconic label Minus.

Their hybrid DJ style is a nonstop extravaganza of high energy tracks expertly blended with charismatic flair and attention to detail that makes sure there is never a dull moment on the dance floor. As described in Night Mag :  "We use Mac and work with “Logic Pro X” plus an “Apollo Twin” interface from Universal Audio. We also use a MPK49 master keyboard from AKAI and the monitors are Yamaha HS7. We work a lot with Software Synths like Sylenth from Lennar Digital and VST Diva, but there are also many others. Rather than having lots of different bits of equipment, we try to know every synthesizer perfectly, so we can make the most of these capacities and transcribe the exact sound we want to create."  Cosmic Boys tracks have also been played in the sets of DJ icons such as CarlCox, Adam Beyer, Pan-Pot, Joseph Capriati, Dubfire and Monika Kruse. Not content with just mixing tracks, they take things to the next level by re-editing music on the fly during a DJ set. Using loops, samples, and drum machines to add an impromptu twist that combines a layer of musicianship to make each live performance totally unique. 

Their record labels Legend and Scander are also apart of their music legacy. Not only have the imprints been outlets for the Cosmic Boys own tracks, but they have also been platforms that give exposure to fresh talent, featuring established influencers such as Reinier Zonneveld, Traumer, Dusty Kid, Alex Stein, TheYellowHeads, Matt Sassari, Space 92, Felix Kröcher among others.

Already achieving the No.1 spot in the sales charts of many download stores, the guys are set on an interstellar trajectory as they voyage into the techno cosmos to gain notoriety around the galaxy.

Now standing as one of Romania’s most promising components, Audio State’s deserving reflection from fellow DJs has ensured his elevation to even greater heights in the last two years, with his productions proving commonplace among the touring playlists of Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Joyhauser, Pig & Dan, Thomas Schumacher, Joseph Capriati and Sama Abdulhadi, to name a few. With notable footholds inside Beatport’s Peak-time Top 100 chart and Hype section with every single one of his releases, the producer’s flourishing discography only grows to hold more future hit records. 

Moving from the countryside to Bucharest during the city’s golden era of dance music, Audio State’s versatile perspective on the genre stems from these early experiences and aims to raise the profile of the country's relatively undiscovered nightlife. In addition to his local performances within Romania’s notable clubs, Audio State has played alongside artists such as Jon Rundell, Stiv Hey and Alex Mine, as well as closing one of the stages at the acclaimed Untold Festival.
