Künstler Bio:

Seit über anderthalb Jahrzehnten steht der Name Silvano Scarpetta für treibende, düstere Beats und kompromisslosen Underground-Techno. Seit 2008 hinter den Decks und seit 2011 auch als Produzent aktiv, hat er sich eine treue Fangemeinde in ganz Europa aufgebaut. Seine Sets sind eine hypnotische Reise durch tiefe Bässe, rohe Energie und düstere Klanglandschaften – immer intensiv, immer einzigartig. 

Mit Gigs in ganz Deutschland und Europa hat sich Silvano Scarpetta einen festen Platz in der Szene erarbeitet. Clubs und Festivals lieben seine kompromisslose Hingabe an den Sound, seine Fähigkeit, die Crowd in einen hypnotischen Rausch zu versetzen, und seinen unaufhaltsamen Drang nach Innovation. Trotz seiner Erfolge bleibt Silvano hungrig nach mehr. Seine kreative Ader sprudelt unaufhörlich, und er entwickelt seinen Sound kontinuierlich weiter. Egal ob im Studio oder auf der Bühne – seine Mission ist klar: die Essenz des Dark Techno in seiner pursten Form zu transportieren und die Grenzen des Genres immer weiter
auszuloten.

A demagogue /ˈdɛməɡɒɡ/ (from Greek δημαγωγός, a popular leader, a leader of a mob, from δῆμος, people, populace, the commons + ἀγωγός leading, leader) or rabble-rouser is a leader in a democracy who gains popularity by exploiting prejudice and ignorance among the common people, whipping up the passions of the crowd and shutting down reasoned deliberation. Demagogues have usually advocated immediate, violent action to address a national crisis while accusing moderate and thoughtful opponents of weakness or disloyalty. Demagogues violate established rules of political conduct; most who were elected to high office changed their democracy into some form of dictatorship.
Demagogues have appeared in democracies since ancient Athens. They exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, nothing stops the people from giving that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.
