Hailing from Birmingham Lysergene is no newcomer to UK Dubstep. After returning from a 10 year hiatus, he turned heads throughout 2024 with releases on WiddFam, Macabre Unit and Rewind 140, and we are pleased to present his debut LP on Iron Shirt recordings.

This album is an eclectic record with a constantly shifting energy and vibe, but has Deep and Dark running through it like a coal seam. Collaborative works with producers Squeeth and Prynox, explore the depths and intricacy of sound. A remix by ISR’s own L Nix seals the deal on this masterpiece of Dubsteppery.

Fork and Knife is back on In:flux Audio baby! Returning with two slices of dubstep fusion, the cutlery master's deft percussion is flowing in full effect alongside a healthy dose of bass. 'Puncture' kicks off proceedings with a drum heavy approach that gives a gutter punch when it kicks in, whilst second track 'Troika' is on the hype flex with high pitch synths leading the way alongside some mad chopped up vocals.

On remix duty we welcome back No Remorse who offers up a darker take on title track 'Puncture'. Heavy drums, dark bass and twisting sound design are a great flip on the original!

Higher Entropy is an album born out of disorder, created between 2022 and 2023, inspired by some of the most chaotic years of my life. To me, living in entropy is an effort about finding order within chaos, and that’s exactly what this music represents. The main single, PMC, stands as the perfect example: a precise structure built from moments of confusion and intensity.

My emotional state while making Higher Entropy was shaped by the post-war integration of the society around me. It’s a document of contrasts: where I was, where I am, and all the turbulence in between.

Ultimately, Higher Entropy is a diary—pages scattered across different places, sounds, and moments.

plusminusbeats (stylized +/-) is the collaboration project of Toronto-based producers @Demeanorsounds and @laceprint. A practice in contrast from lush experimental textures to chest thumping 808s. The project begins releasing music summer 2025.

- @laceprint is the production alias of Toronto-based artist Benjamin Cashmore. His music focuses on deep yet simplistic, bass-heavy productions rooted in halftime, dubstep, and experimental drum and bass. Percussive driving rhythms with a focus on digestible simplicity make the bed of his sound.

- @demeanorsound
DEMEANOR’s sonic world weaves a mesmerizing tapestry of ethereal melodies, pulsating rhythms, distorted basses and evocative soundscapes. A producer and DJ who prefers to let the music speak louder than words. Drawing inspiration from a myriad of influences, effortlessly blending elements of Halftime, Dubstep, experimental bass music, and just about everything in-between. DEMEANOR produces a truly distinct and intoxicating sonic journey through his mixes.
