Hotline Miami 2 MMO Trailer (Misleading Scores)

Welcome to the first installment of "Thematic Thursday", where we will be posting differently themed scores to SC every now and then on Thursdays! Sometimes these scores might even come with a script to match the music, as this one does! (well, half of one)
Today, we have a sad score and script by Luke Wickman, depicting the rather untimely death of someone fighting for what he thinks are all the right reasons.
Orchestrated with a 13 piece setup.
Script:
An august afternoon. After a small run in with the local street dwellers, Hakiri finds himself uneasy and worked up. Normally these short interactions end in a scuffle; an easy to follow, get hit, hit back scenario. But this time was different. The chilled rain graced itself upon Hakiri’s jacket, soaking into the leather, adding a physical heftiness to the already daunting weight brought upon himself. “I never meant to hurt her,” he exhaled with clenched jaw, “Why can’t people see that? How is it so easy to end up in the wrong place at the wrong time?” losing his footing on the third step towards the alley behind his apartment, the slickness wins it’s round, and Hakiri is left with a soaked pantleg, the fabric now clenching his calf. “They don’t know me. They don’t know a fucking thing about how much I’ve done for her or anyone else,” a single tear runs past his lips, and onto gritted, bloody teeth to be lost within the rain. Hakiri takes a step and stops dead in his tracks.
A sharp gust of frigid wind cuts across his neck between his slicked back hair and jacket. “I’m going home. You’ve got no reason to be starting something you can’t finish.” A shadowy figure in what seems to be a trench-coat lingers against the back of the building, caught by Hakiri’s peripherals being heightened by adrenaline. Silence. Hakiri twists his heel, turning to face whomever has come all this way to confront him. “If you’re going to stalk me, at least have the decency to tell me what y-“

Damn, how could he be so fast? Hakiri was riddled with thoughts too quick to comprehend. His hands white-knuckled and grasping two leather gloves, he shifts his leg back to push forward with his knee, headed straight for the stranger’s abdomen. His wrist buckles as the knife is twisted 90 degrees, sending his knee to the ground with an unrelenting force. The cloaked man bends down to eye level as Hakiri looks up. A Bauta mask with gold embroidery and the initials J.S. carved into the cheek along a fine crack can be seen, only to be followed by a boot buckle cracking Hakiri over the jaw. He collapses backwards, mixing light red streaks into the alley street. “After all I’ve fought for…” Hakiri grunts through coughing fits of blood and spit, “WHY?!” He shouts at the anonymous figure. “YOU GAIN NOTHING FROM THIS!” The man reaches into his coat, flashing a similarly embroidered revolver, and aiming it at Hakiri’s torso, and up to his head. “There are greater forces at play here, Hakiri. Acts far beyond your realm of comprehension,” he states sharply. Hakiri rolls over, unaccepting of the inevitable. “You’re wrong,” Hakiri urges out, “I had a plan. It was foolproof… and… it would make everything r-right again. Right like how it was before Reku fucked it all up.” Blood starts filling Hakiri’s lungs, making him cough and fall to the ground. “It’s alright if you don’t understand,” the figure explains, “Only time will unveil our real purpose. As for your time…” His index finger flexes, sending a bullet barreling through the chamber of his revolver, and straight into Hakiri’s chest, “your time, has come, Hakiri Mikamotu.”
The wind whips gently as the masked assailant ventures into the night, leaving Hakiri a mangled mess on the ground. As the breeze dies down, small flakes of snow begin caressing his body, forming his silhouette on the pavement. Night comes, falls, and passes.
*Act 2*
Light shines through the kitchen window. Drops of dew gently roll and drop from the pedals of the flowers in the sill...

Rain to Snow (Hakiri's Death)

Here, we delve into the spooky side of nature, as you forgo on a journey to the Haunted Wyoming hills. You have a few companions to help you on your journey; maybe even more then you would like. A war has been waged on the mind of a middle-aged Henry. Torn apart over the loss of his love, he has secluded himself in the forest and fallen victim to cabin fever. Hallucinations, voices telling him what to do, and other horrors await him, as he tries to grasp reality once more.
