All samples have been recorded through clean RME pre amps (with around 35 - 40 db gain) at the Homesick Recording Company in Brighton. UK

Sample levels have been adjusted to the same listening level. 
The U87 had the hotter signal and the Rodes Mod had the lowest noise floor (just 5db self noise).
No EQ or reverb or compression has been added to the recordings.
The recording room was 5 by 3.5 meters and acoustically treated.

Modifications cost £299.99 + P&P from APRIL 2014 and include new capsule, head basket, high grade components all returned to you in a wooden box. 5 year warranty on new microphones.
