Homework assignment No.1 for A.G. Cook's School of Song Workshop. The theme was "contrasting elements", in my case slow and fast. Rough demo from a single session.

The sample is from Jimmy Scott's "Sycamore  Trees", lead synth is an E-Mu audity2000, reese bass is a Korg microKorg, rhodes piano is a Yamaha Reface CP, breakbeat is from a Blu Mar Ten Sample Disc.

The theme was "gamification", in my case I used a random number generator to generate patch numbers for my E-Mu audity 2000 ROMpler and forced myself to use them and my new guitar. Rough demo from a single session.

I recorded this in 2017 and 2018 using only a Teenage Engineering OP-1 and its internal tape recorder and never shared it. I recorded mainly during travel and channeled a rough year into it. Looking back it isn't very good but considering the workflow of the OP-1... well here it is, for posterity.

EXIT STRATEGY DEMO (Sonic Pi, 2017)

This track was made in one hour in June 2017 for a university project on Ableton Live showcasing the different synth and sample engines. Sample "Tiger Striped Cat" from the series "Cowboy Bebop". All other sounds are made with Ableton Live's Operator/Simpler/Analog plugins.

Tiger Striped Cat DEMO (2017)

Field recorings of a sound walk conducted by art collective punctum in the fall of 2024.
Inspired by Christina Kubisch, the participants used passive electromagnetic sensor microphones to capture a unique auditory view on the city of Lüneburg. During the walk, the group visited art installations by Ulrich Eller, Gregor Kieseritzki and Louise Lang present for the exhibition "Radiance" by the Kunstverein Lüneburg. 

The microphones used were Lom Audio Electrousi into a Zoom H2.

electromagnetic sensor field recordings 20251109 (punctum soundwalk)

remixes of four tracks from the EP "bye, frenger". These remixes were made by slowing and pitch shifting the tracks multiple times, turning the electronic album from 2018 into an ambient experience that fits in with audity2000's other 2025 projects.
