Wooozy (www.wooozy.cn) is thrilled to present The Sound of Young China 2015 Mixtape. From sunny Guangzhou and cyberpunk Chongqing to the frigid northeast grasslands beyond Beijing. From shoegaze to “riot-weird”. This is the sound of China’s young and restless.

This is the second annual mixtape in this series (you can download our 2014 version at http://www.wooozy.cn/2014-mixtape/). As always, it goes out to you, the worldwide independent music community. Here, we present our pick of the most promising Chinese independent artists – artists who’ve probably flown under your radar – with the aim of showcasing the freshest sounds that collectively represent the creative force of China today.
