In August 2014, i hiked on the Via Podiensis, from Le Puy en Velay to Condom, 491km by feet, 21 days of hiking, I had my recorder with me (H4n) and with the pieces of real i recorded i produced this piece, it will be an installation, but now that's a beginning !

this piece was made thanks to the website : free sound.org. The collect was made on 27th and 28th January. The samples are 100 (same number of tracks as on the Golden record sent in space), they last 1.8 sec each (the time a circle on a vinyl record last).

Last september I spent a few days in Bayonne, one evening we were have a digestive walk in the old town when through a door we heard a men choral rehearsing, it was beautiful, very touching, and we stood there for a couple of minutes, just listening and enjoying this stolen moment.

As a mirror of the piece Golden Loop which was created using samples found on the web, I used the same principles to create a piece, this time only using sound I collected myself.

Drone de ville est un catalogue non exhaustif de drones urbains. Un drone est un bourdon, une masse sonore stable qui n’évolue pas dans le temps. Ces sons sont produits par l’habitat citadin : à l’intérieur des immeubles quelqu’un allume un chauffage, une lampe, fait couler de l’eau chaude et active ainsi les circuits électriques, d’aération, de gaz qui sont placés à l’extérieur, dans la rue. Ces sons de l’espace public sont le signe d’activités domestiques, quelqu’un habite à l’intérieur.
