The lone adventurer embraces the desolation of the countryside. The quietness looms over the plains as the wind whispers through the swaying crops. The steady impact of your trusted horses swift footsteps to venture to the next campsite. The venture out west unbeknownst to the traveler will open a world of possibility. The brightness of invisible rain glimmering in the sun as it falls to nurture the land in which you traveled toward. Trouble on the homestead is ahead but for now our Western Venture if full of hope and promise one iron clad step at a time.

For their first release of the year Subaltern Records welcome the Brazilian LA-based producer Oxóssi to their family, conjuring a captivatingly sinister sonic palette for his debut EP on the label.

'Rejoice' being the darkest number and closing track of the EP, making its way into the underworld at a relentless pace. Ghostly vocals and spectral bells precede a battery of shadowy strings, escorted by piercing synth riffs and a haunting carillon. A gritty bassline rounds off what is an extremely powerful finale to Oxóssi's masterful EP.

I have all my tracklists saved and backed up, and soundcloud isnt allowing all files to be uploaded so i am still seeking an alternative to 8tracks. There won't be any new playlisits for a short while but i assure you i am working diligently on finding an alternative for my remaining and future audience. 8Tracks really pulled the rug out from under us with this one so it will take some time to recover.
