A Gitmix of the 12" of the track that was also on the LP Tackhead Tape Time.

Started work on this in 2011. Made it fifteen seconds in and stopped.

Yesterday I revisited the file and got to work again. Funny how imminent destitution is a great motivator to finish things.

Adrian Sherwood and the masters Wimbish, McDonald and LeBlanc, 1985. And the album Gary Clail's Tackhead Sound System - Tackhead Tape Time, has never been bettered.

Tackhead - Mind At The End Of The Tether (Gitmix)

 Our best version of the classic Velvet Underground track. We tried about 10 times to record this song, but the results were never very tight. This version I think is strong enough to share.  Miss Mess and Sonny Blood absolutely back each other up to the very top, lots of support from the awesome Bryce Martin,  Tim Moore as well! At Patrick Jennings Underground Paradise Place, he calls it Unseasonable Sound Studio.

After the great reception of the first one, we are excited to present a new selection of artists who continue to challenge the clichés of the music market and explore new sonorities in electronic music, and to whom we are very grateful for giving shape and meaning to this new reference.

"After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of an awareness of the spectacularised and speculative electronic music that prevails today. A conscious and proud stance against the consumerist concepts of macro festival and selfie that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden, and on the other, the act of throwing the stone that kept it crushed".

RED DEVIIL - SALVAJES (The Undertaker's Tapes Remix)

The Tuxtla Gutiérrez duo, Red Deviil, joins SYNTHICIDE with their EP, Vida Bandida. Producers Guni Ca and BlakG deliver fresh tracks of slick EBM—a style they’ve become known for in underground circuits. Vida Bandida begins with the new beat swing of “Garrobo.” Its vehement energy is emphasized as rampant basslines heave overtop crushing snares and a thunderous kick. “Beliko” is fueled on a forcefulness that courses through its veins, pumping a severely danceable beat alongside haunting vocals that are reminiscent of Adi Newton from Clock DVA.

Side B begins with “Rush” that seeps in pure, hypnotic sensuality. With brassy synthesizer calls and answers, its running bassline undulates and simmers as it boils overtop the strict rhythm. “Vida Bandida” is EBM at its most X-rated: its sterile bassline and the urgency of the track's atmosphere build to a precipice with the addition of near-orgasmic vocals. The Berlin-based Randstad's remix of “Vida Bandida” speeds up the track to a trance-like mesmerism, putting emphasis on the vocal that surrounds and seduces.

The Vida Bandida EP creates a boiling tension from its inception to the very end. Here, Red Deviil acquired fragments of sweat from the dancefloor, a syrupy carnality that can only be found in a mass of bodies moving to the beat.

We’ve come to a point where we no longer need to introduce the sound universe of Per Christian Berg to our ever-growing Navigare tribe, as he’s become a foundation for what we are and what we want to express. “Deep Techno”, “Psychedelia”, “Neo Trance” – call it whatever you like, what matters is that our brand of electronic dance music can assist your spirit to fly.

Simple, yet rich in detail; uniform, yet explorative; uplifting, yet with an unmistakable Nordic melancholia – Hydrous music continues to hypnotize and fascinate us at the Navigare HQ, and we’re happy to continuously receive the praise he deserves from around the globe from his past collaborations with us.

For this release you’ll notice a subtle gain in intensity in all three tracks. Staying true to a Hydrous sound universe, while adding gentle tribal percussion and some über-psychedelic alien bleeps á la Eat Static, this track will blow minds on a starlit night out in the wild.
