The fifth offering on Shadow Sanctuary comes in the form of Violent Romance and Gav Memnos' Shapes EP.  Ardently crafted after a spate of late night studio sessions, it's clear from this, their first collaboration, that a natural synergy has arisen instantaneously between the pair. As a result, three solid and original house cuts form the basis of this release.

The first of our remixers comes in the form of the somewhat mysterious Moodtrap. After showcasing their trademark classic House sound with a string of excellent releases on Tsuba records it made perfect sense to enlist their services for Shadow Sanctuary and the resulting take on 'Keep on Changing' certainly does not disappoint.

Last but by no means least we see the return of engineer come rising talent Michael Jansons. It's evident the effort Michael has been putting into his own endeavours of late is more than paying off as he delivers not one but two banging remixes.

The second release on Shadow Sanctuary is also the second EP in a Trilogy of releases from label boss Dexter Kane. The title track: Realness Don't Break Down is a true ode to classic house, incorporating warm chord stabs and an organ riff from the legendary Korg M1. We Are Polyphonic and Hello Analogue take a more experimental route, both tracks somewhat of a synth workout and an embodiment of Dexter's love of all things analogue. Bringing it live on remix duty are Berlin's Click Click and one half of duo App: August Jakobsen. Despite dropping the tempo Click Click's remix of We Are Polyphonic still maintains an infectious energy, this coupled with a healthy spattering of sleaze is nothing short of a winning combination. August Jakobsen maintains an ever high standard with his rework of Hello Analogue. A delicate yet harmonious balance of basslines, stabs and vocal edits form the basis of this deep yet undeniably catchy number.

Dexter Kane -  Realness Don't Break Down

Marking the conclusion of a trilogy of releases from Dexter Kane, SS003 sees the label boss team up with good friend and emerging talent Sybian. As the title of the EP suggests, the tracks somewhat pay homage to the sounds and production techniques of yesteryear.  The 303, 808, 909, Juno 106 and Korg M1 litter the soundscape resulting in Deep House sounds almost as classic as the instruments themselves.  
Gav Memnos' and August Jakobsen's expertly crafted remix of '(Music) It's all I have' encompasses organic house sounds with warm analogue bass resulting in a track that is both current and retro in equal measure.  The final mix of the package comes from one of the most under-sung yet prolific engineers of recent times, Michael Jansons.  His trademark style can be heard throughout as he adds new dimensions of swing and melody to 'Looking Back'.
