Originally comprised of scraps left over from a live looping session between two linked laptops, my buddy and I constructed a foundation of drums over synced tempos in my studio apartment back in 2006 when I first moved to Oregon. I have a penchant for the dark and disturbing (think Twin Peaks) so I dug these old tracks up years later and began adding layer after layer in a slow, but progressive process to flesh them out into what you hear today.

A production that borrows from the composition 'Green Sleeves' and is re-imagined to create a sort of melancholic backdrop to the daily struggle of survival in an economy that is crumbled by soaring debt and stricken by poverty in such a consumer-driven structure that keeps families and individuals pacified and/or straining to make ends meet, staying slaves to the grain...might there ever be hope?
