The latest release from Nordic Giants comes in the form of a double EP, title ‘Build Seas, Dismantle Suns’. Disc one ‘Build Seas’ is released on 1st October, featuring the track ‘Violent Lights’ with vocals from the visceral Alex Hedley from Saturday Sun.

We are Augusta Fireball, a new 2-piece project from Glasgow, UK, composed of Ali Whitty on guitar and vocals and Tony Soave on drums. With a little help from technology, our music consists of energetic and melodic sound-scapes in a vivid style inspired by a wide diversity of international influences.

After finding each other through previous bands we discovered we had a common motivation to make the record that, for a change, we genuinely wanted to make - and Augusta Fireball was born. Through working together we have become best friends as well as collaborators. From living room demos thrashing out loud guitar riffs and thunderous beats, we are now at the point where we are releasing our self produced debut album 'Hell Hath No Fury Like a Bureaucrat Scorned'. 

From the artwork to the final master, we strongly believe in the DIY principle and we apply a strict quality control to all aspects of our creativity.

I remember the first time I heard the likes of 'Power Out' by the Arcade Fire and watched 'Mr Brightside' by the Killers on MTV and feeling this overwhelming mixture of excitement and frustration thinking - how can we get our songs to sound like THAT?" - Ali

Onstage we seek to maintain the unity and strength of our 2-piece relationship status whilst using our arsenal of technology to create an "enormadrome ear-filling sound" and produce a dynamic live show.

Sailor & I are back with their latest productions for Life and Death. The two original tracks, while very different in moods, both share lush productions and a dramatic musical storytelling not often found in a typical dance release. While Boys & Girls offers a slowed-down mournful and yet beautiful nostalgic tale of childhood days gone by, Turn Around comes straight out of the gate like a racehorse on fire, flanked by strong strings and a vocal that pleads a case for love that comes straight from the heart.

And of course rounding out the release is arguably one of the most anticipated tracks of the summer. Ever since it first started falling on people’s ears earlier this year, the Âme remix of “Turn Around” has been the high point of sets by Tale of Us, Dixon, Mano Le Tough as well as the few select others that have had their hands on it up until this point. It’s been giving goosebumps to club goers everywhere and with good reason — this is Âme at their finest, taking the song and extending it into an epic masterpiece that works wonders on a dancefloor while never losing the bewitching essence of the original.
