Joa Sopacua also known as August Mae, is an Moluccan Dj/musician/Producer From Amsterdam. His indescribably love for music lead him to making music as a Young boy. With his father playing the guitar, and his mother beeing a singer, its not strange that he grew up with music and playing instruments such as the guitar and piano as a kid. Coming from a church going household, he was raised with music genres as: Jazz, Funk, Soul, R&B and hip hop (90’s) etc.

You can hear a lot of musical influences in his productions. From R&B to Future, From Soul to Baile funk, and everything that’s in between, or even fused together.
He is Always looking for new sounds, to make music with or to combine.
