This piece uses a 10m music box score which has been twisted into a Möbius strip. The score is composed entirely via dice rolls and random number generator. This has been sampled and mixed electronically, and then passed to Sophie Stone to respond to.

The result was something which (unintentionally)triggered memories of my childhood, and my mental state. Unfortunately my childhood was full of things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. It was this that influenced the title of the track, and the image.

Perverted Innocence

The first in a series, Woodhouse 09/11/21 9PM was written in collaboration with James M. Creed. It is a simple piece for two reed organs and two manipulated field recordings taken from two nearby streets at the same time on a quiet Tuesday evening. They are overlaid with each other and accompanied by a simple cycle of sustained dyads. The piece is a small study of the difference in two very similar streets, and the harmonic activity present in our everyday surroundings on quiet nights.
