Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Aura Soundz (born Kellye Franklin) is no stranger to good music and spent her youth singing in choirs, at events, and dreaming of one day blessing a wider audience with her vocal talents.

Mz Soundz is careful to stay connected with her spiritual and soulful roots paying homage to legendary vocalists like Phyllis Hyman, Whitney Houston, Teena Marie, and Miki Howard, as well as recent artists such as Monica and Toni Braxton. “Today the industry has a gap in true soul, rhythm & blues music. I want to be a catalyst for bringing that back.” says Aura Soundz.
