The world we knew, part I

I don't like this track anymore. 
It was meant to have vocals but they never felt right, so I left it as it was. Maybe some of you could find it interesting... I just want to move on and forget about this !

The World We Knew II

Another experimental track. I used some samples from the internet, like the old radio and the "cinema sound" at the beginning.

It has lyrics, and is actually larger than this, but I never recorded the entire song because it was very difficult for me by that time. 

I still like the idea. Of a Pharo, waiting, and standing long after the human beings disappeared from earth. Partialy inspired on Ray Bradbury's "The Fog Horn".

This track is one of the first tracks where I used VST instruments, so I was just trying.

Its feeling changed during the recording process and when it was finished, it had changed  so much that the lyrics I wrote wouldn't fit anymore.

Maybe in the future I will auto-steal some ideas from this...

GoodByeMyChild V2(Sin Voz)

This is a new track.

But again, it lost its feeling and when it was finished, I didn't like it.
Although it has some good ideas, and it was useful to keep learning (by myself) about mixing.

I think of myself as a composer, but I lack of experience finishing songs, so this is just part of the process. 

I hope someday I could visualize an entire track without losing the focus.

Untitled 1

This is another experiment, but I like it.

I tried to do something more psychodelic, with a lot of reverb and simple drums, and the first part ended like this.

The second part of the track continues the psychedelic experience, but changing the rythm and the enviroment. The riff is clearly inspired on some Porcupine Tree's early (or not so) song.

This is called "Reverse Sky" because while I recorded the song, I constantly imagined an empty field, with a static sky covered by clouds, falling in pieces of glass as the broken ground ascends to form a new sky.

NOTE: there's probably a lot of mistakes in my english, sorry for that...

Anyway, hope you like it.

Srry for the peaks, I don't know what I'm doing. Really.

Some notes from the bass line are wrong on purpose (like 3 or 4, it's the same note)
