Ridds is a Sydney-based DJ whose musical sensibility has had a profound influence on us over the years. 

A member of the indelible DUNJ crew, he is known for entrancing audiences with deep, rhythmic psychedelia.

We invited him to spend some time away from the dance floor and take us on this beautiful cosmic journey in sound.

“This mix is a journey through some of my favourite ambient psychedelic peices. Ambient music has always been a great aid for me when seeking flow, be it exercising or being creative. The Perimeter Junk label boss and @hot-mass co-founder has prepared a deep, ethereal and raw soundscape for the heart of the storm, which is where he took us on that glorious day nearly one year ago. The mix features selections from his excellent PJ label and even a few tracks from this year's party navigators, @shawn-rudiman and @fdbeardd. CMD is Corina MacDonald, a Montreal music producer, DJ, and radio programmer whose DJ sets and live performances fuse synth-laden aesthetics of techno, electro and house music. CMD has released a series of EPs to date that reflect a range of musical influences and preoccupations. Her most recent endeavors include Social Factory Reset (Fixed Rhythms 2021) and Precarious Pursuit (2021), as well as contributions to the Montreal-based fundraising compilations Re:Conceive (2023) and Dances Across Borders (2020, 2022). She has performed at many of Montreal’s iconic electronic music events, such as MUTEK and Piknic Electronik, as well as in underground clubs and parties, and has been billed alongside a variety of international acts including Ben Klock, Plaid, Lauren Flax and Robert Hood. As the host of Modular Systems on CKUT 90.3 FM she presents new music, guest mixes and live performances every other Sunday afternoon.
