Jeff the Killer Theme (Rock Redux)

A rescore (or cover) of Rob Hubbard's classic theme for Commando on the Commodore 64. This might be my all time favorite C64 tune. I tried to stay as loyal as possible to the song's structure, but I completely modernized the instrumentation and added some flares.

Joining The Pyramid (NoSleep Podcast Surround Sound Template Test)

Featured on NoSleep Podcast S10E18 "AFFY" by S.H. Cooper, this is the complete sound design I created for the phone call scene in the climax of the story. This sample removes the phone filter, music and vocals so you can hear it in high fidelity stereo audio. 

Imagine yourself sitting among the passengers of the ill-fated flight Karla's parents take to visit her sister. You'll hear the shaking of the seats, the groan and screech of metal as the plane buckles in the turbulence, the whine of the engines as the pilot struggles to right the plane, the screams of your fellow passengers as they experience the whole horrifying ordeal and the explosive finality of the plane's descent from the sky.

Sound Design for "AFFY" Phone Call Scene from NoSleep Podcast S10E18

A house track I composed for the nightclub scene in C.K. Walker's "The Boy in the Alley" featured on S11E25 of the NoSleep Podcast.

"The Boy in the Alley" Nightclub Track

A recut of "Razors.Out" by Mike Shinoda & Joseph Trapanese. 

When I first saw the original 2011 trailer for The Raid, it featured an original track by Mike Shinoda and Joseph Trapanese. That track later became the basis for the song "Razors.Out" (featuring Chino Moreno). 

If you're anything like me, while I really enjoyed hearing the new version of the theme mixed with Chino's vocals, I came away a bit wanting as it had lost the trailer's exciting orchestral crescendo. So, I thought I'd put it back in! 

The bulk of this track is from "Razors.Out", but the song also features pepperings of "Uncle Andi", "Rama's Family Dream" and "One Way Out" from The Raid: Redemption Original Motion Picture Score & Soundtrack, a sample from the ending music from the film itself and of course the original 2011 trailer music.

I call it a recut rather than a remix because it's not drastically different from a song structure standpoint and the only additions I've added were from other parts of the film's soundtrack to give the track a bit more of a cinematic flare. It's more of an extended edition, really.

All music belongs to Mike Shinoda & Josph Trapanese and Sony Pictures Classics. This is a personal project purely for fun, so please don't bulldoze my house!

My submission for the 2008 Hockey Night in Canada theme song competition. I didn't win, but I still enjoyed making this track.
