Very good..clever..the variation on the old classic sounds is really cool..Cant fault this in any way.

I always liked Italian Westerns (Spaghetti Westerns). This song was inspired by the movie "Per Pochi Dollari Ancora", music by Gianni Ferrio, based upon a theme by Ennio Morricone.

I used a hip hop groove as basic drum rhythm ;-)

in this sound painting i have combined percussive parts of afro-cuban with percussion elements to a journey through my personal jungle of emotions and feelings. As so often in my music, I follow purely my intuition and so I often don't know at the beginning where the journey is going. But the structure of the first moment always remains. Original and pure. The listener is therefore in the same moment as I am when I create the music.

Sometimes the difficult thing to do is to reconcile with someone after a disagreement. Relationships recover and flourish when honest conversation is had. 

As you may notice, the cover art harkens back to a familiar cover from 1973 and that is intentional, because Andrea and Rebecca are strongly influenced by music from that time period. Many fans of 8000 Miles’ first album, Aggregate, have remarked on that influence. The title Crystal Confetti represents the clarity 8000 Miles is honing in their duo’s style and the contrast of weighted moods and flying inspirations.

This is a clash of styles. Some euclidian sequencers and some bouncy notes meet triphop-like bass and drums and soul elements like electric piano and other keys. In addition we have some ambient and other soundeffects. Against all of these there is a singer embodiing his feelings. And in somehow it reminds me of leftfield too.

I've grown up in the 80s and I like the music of that era very much. That's the decade that inspires my instrumental music which, I think, is a bit evocative of that period. I always try to choose, where possible, the sounds and some chord sequences that give the feel of that era.
