Truglut is a Madrid based dj and producer. He is one of the souls behind the trance collective Eigenblau, working on the creation of an inclusive local community revolving around music.

This mix showcases his softer side with a combination of new and old ambient trance-y favorites. It features a selection of warm and fuzzy atmospheres, tingly melodic arpeggios, stripped down pc music and softly euphoric songs. ✨️

Heading to a new millennium, people in the 80s and 90s were looking for brighter days to come and Techno was the music of this utopic future, themed by rushed beats made by electronic instruments that resembled a new era of technology, endless excess and possibilities. 40 years later the world is more complicated and dystopian than ever as we face crises everywhere. Mental issues are a natural consequence of the troubled environments we live in and more people around the world suffer from them. At the same time, we haven’t lost the appeal for euphoric and fast dancing, either to leave our problems behind or face them head-on on the sweaty dance floor. This EP is dedicated to some of the feelings associated with the tribulations of mental issues. What seems like a dark take still points out that we are not alone, as music unites us being the source for help and change. Mental States [777_31] offers four sick cuts perfect for insane clubs - fast and furious like an attack, rushed and energetic embracing positivity in the darkness.

Agata is a Polish DJ and producer currently based in Berlin. In her selections, the former singer and songwriter puts emphasis on catchy melodies, effective rhythms and trippy, forward-thinking sound design. Embrace the distorted happy accidents, and enjoy the Sunday morning from the backyard of Pumpehuset in Copenhagen. Track list: full set of mostly unreleased HLLW material.’

The mix is a mastered and cut HLLW’s live performance at the Pumpehuset, Copenhagen in the middle of Summer on Sunday, a party organised by Den Anden Side.

HLLW is experimenting with its own hybrid realised on electronic gear without a computer screen. Time is dissolved and old as new, digital as analogue means are put into use. As if it were jazz, the songs are not composed, but improvised, while preserving the red thread and creating unique and interesting sound images.
