Drawing inspiration from the pulsating rhythms of early 2000s Progressive Psytrance and the ethereal landscapes of fast-paced, tripped-out trance, Gan D crafts immersive soundscapes that transcend earthly boundaries. Having already made her mark in numerous renowned clubs in London and Berlin, she will make her debut on European festival lineups this summer.

Inspired by the freedom of the forest parties where she began djing, she experiments across genres taking twisted turns, mixing rolling psy, punching tribe, 90s trance, hypnotic techno, and beyond.

For this podcast, Mademoisel has chosen to explore old school sounds, blending 90s progressive trance with modern synth-y house bits.

We’re pleased to introduce @hassdenteufel, a Berlin-born DJ and co-founder of the @astral-lab project who’s making waves in the Berlin Psytrance scene.

With his thoughtfully curated mixes, Hassdenteufel creates a deep, trippy but euphoric atmosphere that makes you want to dance and dream. Telling a story with each of his sets.

Influenced by the newer Scandinavian Trance style, Hassdenteufel brings his distinct approach to Psytrance, offering a mix that’s both captivating and reflective of his sound.

Celebrating the sonic history of the label as part of the anniversary. Artists who have contributed to capsules throughout the five years of the project were invited to dig into the entire back catalog of releases and create their own unique take. The result is a beautifully diverse 12-track compilation that reinvents tracks, spanning from the first capsule that launched the label to the joint fundraiser compilations with Ute Records to the recent collaboration with the Berlin-based collective Mala Junta.

"A while ago, I realized that many of my favourite trance DJs have a habit of releasing ambient productions from time to time. I then started collecting such works and putting them together in mixes. This is the third ambient trance mix I’ve made. The idea is to have all the emotional facets and colourful soundscapes of trance but, for a change, without the usual percussion. The mixes are also intended to be an expression of appreciation to the producers behind all those beautiful tracks as well as to Ute’s Marius Bø, who has been a big inspiration for my ambient trance endeavours and beyond."
