The Edge est un morceau qui a commencé à être composé au début du premier confinement, durant une phase difficile pour beaucoup de monde. Il raconte l'histoire d'une personne qui réalise à quel point l'humanité ne se soucie plus de ce qui l'entoure et en particulier la vie des animaux et leur utilisation en tant que simple consommable.

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Hadra is proud to present a new triple VA compilation symbol of the past 20 years of activism for promotion and democratisation of psychedelic culture in France and around the globe.

This special edition release, called "20 years of ResisTrance", brings together all the generations of musicians who have evolved over the years alongside Hadra. 
It therefore offers a complete panorama of the different styles and trends of psytrance from its beginnings to the present day, as the association has experienced them in your company over the past two decades.
"20 years of ResisTrance" gathers both emblematic tracks from Hadra Records and Altervision Records but also mindblowing unreleased tracks meticulously selected by the Hadra team.

Moreover, it’s also a tribute to a great man, founder of the association in 2001 and passionate militant of our microcosm : Driss, who first used in Hadra the term “Resistrance” to name his own compilation back in 2012.

Not to be missed under any circumstances, 20 years is definitely a date to celebrate !

Plusieurs générations d'artistes ayant évolué au sein des labels Hadra se trouvent aujourd'hui dans cette release collector, offrant un panorama complet des différents styles et tendances de la psytrance de ses débuts à aujourd'hui. Cette compilation rassemble des artistes internationaux qui ont marqué l'histoire, mais aussi des artistes émergents de la région grenobloise qui ont évolué avec Hadra toutes ces années. "20 ans de RésisTrance", ce sont à la fois des morceaux emblématiques des labels Hadra Records et Hadra AlterVision Records mais aussi des morceaux inédits, tous soigneusement sélectionnés par l'équipe Hadra. 

Cette compilation est un clin d'œil à celles et ceux qui ont été aux côtés de Hadra toutes ces années, artistes, bénévoles, partenaires, salarié.e.s, intermittent.e.s, qui ont donné de leur énergie et toute leur passion pour faire vivre ce projet depuis 2001. "ResisTrance" est aussi un hommage à un grand monsieur : Driss, fondateur de l'association et militant passionné pour notre milieu.

A passionate sound designer, with his debut album, 'The Birth' coming out on Hadra Altervision Records in 2018, followed by an emotionally charged EP called 'Catharsis PT.1' two years later, Meelk has gradually developed and cultivated an atypical sound identity thanks to an analogical and hypnotic sound, powerful, sometimes dark, sometimes luminous. Between Bass Music aesthetics, Experimental and Cinematic influences, he defies conventions and tries to write his own tale of modern electronic music. He is currently working on his second album aiming to deepen his narrative path, aiming to put more emphasis on the cinematic and storytelling side. Atmospheric Dub Techno Mix - Dark, Deep and Heavy 5

Bark is an electronic music project formed in 2019 by the French producer Aurélien Mortha. 

Gravitating in the music world for a decade as a sound engineer and producer, he started in the electronic music scene, as part of “Les Gros Nazes Evolution” association. From then onwards, he appeared in various music festivals and events in the region of Grenoble, such as the “Buffalo Beats” or “Les Baluchons”. 

Subtle mix of techno, ambient and electronica, deeply melancholic, Bark’s music very much belongs to a natural and contemplative world. The name “Bark”, derived from trees, evokes the communion between nature and electro beat. 

Inside the “Studio des Petites Roches”, a real sound laboratory located in the middle of the Alps, Bark experiments with mixing artificial textures, notes from acoustic instruments, foleys and percussions, using these various sounds like surrealist ink to paint the landscapes of his world. 

In his live performances, Bark offers a second wind to his music, using drum machine, samplers and synthesizers to revisit his compositions. In addition to original live mixes, Bark often collaborates with the digital artist Vibes VJ to create a comprehensive and immersive performance, both musical and visual.
